Will be another month before I get to try it out on ducks. But the rings and cord and stitching all seem fine and I expect to put it to a lot of successful use. 12 straps is actually excessive since most of the US has a 6 or 7 duck limit but you could have some geese or it gives you leeway if one of the cords gets damaged you can still carry a full limit without using that cord.

I use this lanyard for duck hunting and carrying ducks from the field when I find success. It's lightweight and folds up small, so I carry it in my backpack or hunting bag most of the time. It's easy to put on and easy to secure ducks or birds. It can get a little off balance if you have an odd number of birds, but not to the point of being a nuisance. You could even use this to carry decoys into a walk-in spot if you didn't want to use a decoy bag. I found this worked well when I only wanted to carry a few decoys with me into smaller ponds or sloughs. The stitching seems solid throughout and I expect this lanyard to last me quite a few years of hunting. A very welcome addition to any hunter's bag--especially if you like to hoof it through the woods to your favorite spots.
