First impressions were awesome! Ordered before noon and received them at 9:30pm same day. But like many other reviews, the knives are NOT sharp out of the box at all (can’t expect too much being under $80). No big deal since I like to sharpen my own blades anyways. Kit comes with a field sharpener which works surprisingly well, overall pretty awesome! Used the boning knife for deer (didn’t have to hone once) used the hatched to split kindling for a fire (worked great) used the gutting knife for between the hide and entrails (worked perfectly) used the bone saw for exactly what it sounds like (no issues with it) finally used the tiny knife for dove hunting (works perfect for taking breast meat off. Haven’t gotten to use anything else in the set yet but I’m looking forward to it. Only reason for 4 stars is the dullness out of the box. Highly recommend. ... show more

I made this purchase as a back up. It was well packaged, but when I opened it, it immediately had stickers all over it stating California cancer warning. I’m assuming the toxins are in the handles as the blades all seem to be stainless. I sent it back immediately, because I’m not willing to take a chance on something labeled cancerous. ... show more
