This is a really nice hunting knife set for the price. It comes with a lot of useful tools all in one case, including a boning knife, gut-hook skinner, bone saw, rib spreader, shears, and even gloves and a sharpener. It basically has everything you need for field dressing and processing game. The knives feel solid and sharp right out of the case, and the handles have a good non-slip grip which is important when you’re working in the field. Very good set for the money. So far our favorite knife out of the set is the skinning knife. It has a rounded tip, that’s sharpened, making it get into them hard to reach places. Not to mention they are very sharp. We used this set on several deer before needing to resharpen.

Used for field dressing and butchering whitetail deer. Bone saw cuts through the hip bone and leg bone like butter super sharp, be careful cleaning because you will end up with small cuts on fingertips if not careful (it's sharp). Boning/Fillet knife sharp enough to get the job done. Gut-Hook knife my favorite it is sharp and just does most of the work field dressing and prepping the deer. Caping knife works nice enough nothing that sticks out. Shinning cleaver was a big disappointment because it looks so cool I wanted to love it but other than the balance it does not have a purpose, it is too light and not sharp. Gave the cutting board to the wife to use in the kitchen. Knife sharpener does an ok job. Hawkbill knife- just haven't used Gut-Hook Butcher Axe-just haven't used Ribcage Spreader- will never use Game Shear- just haven't used Cleaning Gloves- yep that's what they are. ... show more

For cheap knife set it works great! Very sharp out of the box! Don't know how long they will last but I have dressed 3 deer with no problems.

I bought this for my husband. He loves it, so much so he had put it in his truck so he wouldn't forget it when he goes hunting. It came with a lot of different blades and items. It even came with a little cutting board and gloves which was really neat. I haven't gotten to see him use it yet but he says it works like a dream. The hard carrying case the items come in is amazing too. Every thing has its place where it just clips into the case. Money wise, it's worth it. The price was nice for the quality you get. He rated it 10 out of 10 and said I should buy another just for a back up hahaha. ... show more
