I’m a new, one handed climber and after learning how to use a Blake’s hitch wanted to try a quality mechanical ascender/descender. Having only one hand it’s imperative to have tools and equipment that makes things go as smoothly as possible and the Rope Runner’s have a solid reputation for that. I’ve run it in SRT and DRT configurations and it works very well for both but excels in srt. I run a paw plate when in DRT to give a little standoff from the rope knot to the “bird” to prevent accidental release. I run mine on 11.8mm Drenaline and they pair well together. It didn’t hurt that blue is my favorite color and the new Notch bulk/teal scheme look very sharp together. ... show more

Shipped and delivered super fast, great quality and zero damage. The last pictures are the add one I was able to use with it, compatible with the notch magneto and the Chester chest piece. 100% game changer when it comes to climbing.
