I have just started smoking meat using charcoal and wood. The worst part is babysitting smoker so I researched options and landed on pellet smoker. Seems to be most convenient but complaints were not enough smoke taste. Was very anxious about a Boston butt which is a 10 to 12 hour smoke because of other things I needed to do. I was pleasantly surprised when temps held very closely to set temperature, I'm used to 50 to 75 degree temp swings. Worked flawlessly, very impressed. Looked at all smokers and brands before I stumbled on this one. Not well known name to me but the reviews were very high so I decided to go with it because of price since I'm not familiar with pellet grills. I would think it would be hard to beat this smoker for double the price. The readout is very bright and bold. I decided it seems to run itself so I would mow yard. Kept driving by to check temps and could see temp from very good distance. Well I have only used it a few times because I just got it after only 3 days after my order. Easy to put together, screwdriver only. No brainer. I did add some felt gasket around door and put a bungee on handle to hold it closed tight only because I didn't like smoke coming out the front in my face. Has holes in back for ventilation. Also it is so easy to clean. You can wrap the drip pan/heat shield with heavy duty foil and wipe off when removed. I noticed there is a lot of dust in bottom where ashes blow around due to fan blowing. I'm sure they all do that but there is plenty of room under heat shield so I am going to try a pan of water under it to see if it will capture most of it and will add moisture to chamber if nothing else. This is truly a modern marvel. P.S. I have heard you can't get the bark and taste of a wood fired smoker but check out picture of bark on that butt. I did use a smoker tube inside. I suggest a tube or wood chip box for added smoke if needed. We'll made and total value for money. I like the size. Didn't need a large unit. Some said it was too short but didn't seem to be a problem for me. Hard to please everyone I guess.

The smoker is smaller than I had imagined however it works just fine. You can cook two chickens side-by-side or a medium size Boston butt. I barely got an 11 pound turkey to fit, but turned it a certain way and was able to close the lid. If you’re new to smoking or don’t necessarily have to cook a lot of meat at one time this unit works great. You can’t beat the price point as I purchased mine for less than $275. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that a larger, more expensive smoker would have but honestly you don’t really need all that to smoke great food. I purchased a dual thermometer kit for around $35 and between the two I’ve had great success with all the meats I’ve cooked. It also worked well grilling hamburgers and steaks. The fit and finish is actually quite good for a unit with this price point. I have purchased grills over $500 that weren’t built as well as this one is. I had an issue with a broken handle when I assemble it and Damness had no problem sending me a new handle in a timely fashion. The customer support was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this grill to friends and family.

The little smoker that could. For the price this is one of the best smokers out there. Some facts; it is a small box but you can fit three racks of ribs with the top shelf that hold over a dozen wings. Controls and temp work consistently without issue. It does sit a little lower to the ground which I knew ahead of time and honestly isn’t uncomfortable to cook on. Easy to clean. Love this little guy!

This was ordered because we were needing a new smoker and wanted smoked pork for Super Bowl. Much to our amazement, a vital piece was missing. So, the seller was notified and weeks later and still nothing. The smoker sits absolutely useless. I will never support this brand and seller again. So disappointing.

The smokers made well, structurally, with just a mismatched screw holes. But I don’t find it user friendly at all, for someone just learning. It takes forever to shut down once you change to shut Down cycle. I have a tough time getting it to smoke much once you turn it back to smoke from te shutdown position. It’s not the second time I’m using it. (First time rained out and had to finish n be oven. It also has a hard time maintaining the temp after it shuts down and I reset to smoke. I’m not so sure this was a good purchase for me but at this point I have to make it work. I think it would be a good purchase for experienced smokers but I don’t think it’s great for learners!
