I’ve repaired and owned a lot of equipment over the years, so I’m probably more critical than the average buyer. I inspect everything before I ever plug it in, and I’m quick to notice shortcuts in engineering or construction. This Greenworks pressure washer has genuinely impressed me. Packaging – 10/10 The machine was exceptionally well packed. Every component was protected, even the electrical plug prongs. Nothing shifted in the box, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Assembly – 10/10 Assembly was quick and straightforward. The Quick Start Guide is almost entirely illustrations, and the pressure washer comes largely assembled from the factory. You’re basically installing the wheels, handle, accessory holders and side panel. Everything fit perfectly. Build Quality – Outstanding This machine immediately stands out from many residential pressure washers. Highlights include: * Heavy-duty steel tubular frame * All-metal pump * Brass garden hose inlet * Metal spray wand * Solid, comfortable spray gun * Large treaded wheels * Flexible hybrid high-pressure hose * Weather-protected power switch * Excellent fit and finish throughout At no point during assembly did I encounter anything that made me think, “They cheaped out here.” Thoughtful Engineering This machine was clearly designed by people who actually use pressure washers. Features I especially appreciated include: * Automatic locking folding handle * One-handed handle release * Excellent onboard storage for the wand, hose, power cord and nozzles * Large, easy-to-reach garden hose connection * Easily accessible detergent tank * Turbo nozzle included * Nozzle cleaning tool included One of my favorite features is simply how accessible everything is. On some pressure washers you practically have to stand on your head just to connect the garden hose. Not this one. One Minor Observation The only small inconvenience I found is that the spray wand must be removed before folding the handle. Once the handle is folded, however, the wand has its own storage position and stores securely. It takes only a few seconds and certainly wasn’t a deal breaker. My Only Modification The only change I made was adding brass quick-connect fittings to both ends of the high-pressure hose. That allows the hose to be connected and disconnected in seconds and makes setup and storage even more convenient. Performance This is where the Greenworks really impressed me. The machine is remarkably quiet. You can easily carry on a normal conversation standing next to it while it’s operating. Another feature I really appreciated is the startup behavior. When you squeeze the trigger, water initially flows at normal garden hose pressure. Then the motor starts and smoothly ramps up to full operating pressure. There is no violent jerk or sudden kick when the pump comes on. It’s a thoughtful safety feature that makes the machine much more comfortable to use, especially around vehicles. Soap System The onboard detergent system worked exactly as designed. Using the black soap nozzle produced a good coating of soap without using an excessive amount of detergent. I was able to soap the vehicle, brush it, and then rinse with the green 25° nozzle. The green nozzle turned out to be an excellent choice for automotive use. It easily removed bug residue without being overly aggressive on the paint and did an outstanding job rinsing both the vehicle and my driveway afterward. Owner’s Tip One thing I discovered during my first use may help other owners. If you purge the air from the pressure hose before starting the motor and there is detergent in the onboard tank, the detergent injector can begin siphoning soap even with a regular spray nozzle installed. I unintentionally used some detergent this way during my initial setup. My solution is simple: I’m installing a small inline shutoff valve in the detergent supply hose. That allows me to leave detergent in the tank while preventing any accidental siphoning during startup. When I’m ready to wash a vehicle, I’ll simply open the valve, apply soap with the black nozzle, then close it again before storing the machine. Final Thoughts Before I ever turned this machine on, I was impressed by the engineering and build quality. After actually using it, my opinion only improved. The Greenworks combines excellent engineering, quality construction, thoughtful storage, quiet operation, and impressive cleaning performance into one very well-designed package. If I had to score it? I’d give it six stars on a five-star scale. It’s rare these days that a product exceeds my expectations. This one did.

Good value

So far it has been very good. Relatively quiet. It is short on the height department. At 6,3 I’ll need to bend over to move it. Pressure is good, enough to clean deck and concrete. Soap dispenser uses soap very fast. Ones you get used to the height it is good value. Cord management is adequate.

Got a lemon but Greenworks promptly replaced it

I had this pressure washer on my wish list for a while, and finally purchased it during Prime Days. It was fairly easy to put together - just needed to attach the wheels and accessory hooks. Impressive build quality. It started it up and it worked great - for a couple hours. Then the motor spontaneously stopped. I searched the web for potential fixes, but nothing worked. I was about to start an Amazon return, but I thought I’d try calling Greenworks customer support first to see if they could help. Over the course of a 30 min phone call (10 min on initial hold), the tech support person had me try a few different things but to no avail. He then went to get supervisory approval to send a replacement unit to me. Received the new unit within a week via FedEx. The new unit has been working fine so far. So while the first unit I got was a lemon, Greenworks customer support came through and made things right. Always nice to find a company that stands behind its products. Side notes: (1) Greenworks arranged for a FedEx pickup and free return of the defective unit from my house, (2) According to the tech, two common problems preventing start-up are a defective GFCI and trapped air in the pump housing. The latter can be remedied by running water thru the unit for 3 minutes with the motor off, but this was not my issue.

Powerful and Easy to Use — Great First Pressure Washer

We bought the Greenworks Pro Brushless 2300 PSI Pressure Washer for our new house, and it’s been a great investment. This is our first pressure washer, so we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was easy to set up and surprisingly powerful. My husband’s used it to clean the driveway, front steps, and even some outdoor furniture—it made a huge difference right away. It’s electric, so no gas or heavy maintenance to worry about, and it’s quieter than I expected too. Perfect for homeowners who want something strong but user-friendly. Highly recommend if you’re just getting started with outdoor cleaning!

Sturdy, powerful and relatively quiet

Outstanding product! The setup is easy and the unit is sturdy and compact. The power is excellent and the engine makes less noise than my previous washer which seems flimsy compared to the Greenworks. I also purchased the 15 inch surface cleaner attachement and that combination works extremely well.

What a disappointment

It started off great. Reasonably good for an electric power washer. Now it’s been 4 or so car washes in and the motor stopped working. Now I have to mess with trying to work with Greenworks to get a different one or a refund after spending a lot of money for the unit. What a mess.
