Excellent pole saw. Good reach. Assembly is simple. Disassembling is not easy but I don't really care that much about that. The saw is self oiling and operates smoothly. Chain cuts through branches with ease. It's not the lightest saw I've used but the balance is good as long as you're not overextended. The 2 amp battery that it comes with has enough power to make a number of cuts before needing recharging. I also purchased a 6 amp battery for even greater longevity. It's not the easiest tool to store assembled but it can be Disassemble with some effort. Bought it thinking if it just gets me through The one project I bought it for it would be worth it. Using it was a breeze. After 2 weeks of a few hours a day, still working like new. Chain still sharp. When the chain gets dull, I plan on just buying a new one. No sharpening. Been there, done that.

I prune trees for a living and wanted something lite weight, reliable and powerful. This is all that. I bought this after watching youtube reviews. It cuts through limbs extremely fast and clean cuts. I've had Dewalt that was heavier, flimsy and quit working in less than a year. This is easily portable and quality. The battery that comes with it is a 2.0Ah. It's not enough to prune steady for a hour or so I bought 2 extra 6.0 ah batteries on Amazon made from another company for a lot less money than Greenworks brand. ... show more

I had considered a pole saw, but all the gasoline ones are super heavy for a lady, and I had bad experiences with recharable batteries in the past not lasting, so hadnt even considered a battery pole saw. Then a friend got one of a different brand, it cut excellent tho had a fiberglass pole that sagged and bounced, and it was still heavy for me. So I researched and this was the lightest one I could find with good reviews. And the pole is made of aluminum which is the very lightest, more then fiberglass and doenst bend. I use it without the extension, which makes it too out of balence for me, but I can still easily reach ten feet which is plenty to take limbs off of trees as well as reaching into thorny brush at ground level to cut out saplings without getting all stickered. So this is just what I have been needing for years. I do have a full size gas chain saw for big wood, but this is so nice for small. Congratulations to greenworks for making such a nice saw, and the battery lasts a long time on a charge too!, much to my amazement!! ... show more

This Polesaw, unlike the last one i got and returned, is factory new condition, packaged in plastic bags, battery needed to be charged as usual. Even the little screwdriver/socket wrench was packaged. Saw is powerful for a 1hp motor. works well I would be a good idea to have caps for the ends of the tubes to protect them if stored un-assembled. ... show more

Very pleased with this purchase. It nade short work of cutting limbs down that i could not reach. Its cutting speed is fast. Make sure to clean out chain area after use. Battery lasted for everything i needed done.
