We've bought greenworks in the past and they've always made excellent quality tools so we decided this is the blower we should buy. I must say that I'm impressed with this blower, it's very simple to use and it has a lot of blowing and cleaning power behind it. The battery life lasted longer than the 18 minutes advertised and charged a lot quicker than 75 minutes mentioned in the battery manual. The only real downside is that its a little on the heavier side and it becomes uncomfortable if you're using it for a while. It's fairly cheap compared to other leafblowers but it's still high quality and has a lot of power. This tool is just another reason to continue buying greenworks products. ... show more

Pleasantly surprised! My old gas-engine blower bit the dust and I was skeptical this would be powerful enough, but the low price tag and positive reviews persuaded me. It's lighter and quieter than my old Craftsman and does the job great. One note: I only use it for clearing sidewalks and patios (which it excels at). If you're looking for a lawn leaf-raking replacement you may want something more heavy duty. ... show more

    • Powerful, but not the most powerful.
Size: Axial Blower (2.5Ah)
With turbo mode, it is close to being real powerful, but not quite "real powerful", just "powerful". Two short steps away from a gas powered version, of the same design. That is NOT a bad thing. In normal mode, not turbo, it is perfect speed and pressure for clearing dry debris from most surfaces. Leaves, sand, small stones, weed clippings, clumps of grass. For added power, without turbo, a close surface tap is all that is needed to increase blowing power, without going into turbo mode. Cons: Turbo button placement makes you feel like you NEED to hold it. It really should be more of a side button, not a top button. Turbo drains power nearly 3x faster, but seems less than half stronger than normal. I assume it reaches the ducting and blade angle limits. It really should have a blade designed for turbo, and just run half RPM, for economy mode. This could use two more duct tips... One which is a wide and flat "sweeper", and one with a teardrop air focused insert, for pinpoint blowing control. It can handle both, but we only get a standard tapered exhaust tip. (With a little modification, it can be a flat sweeper. Heat it with a heat gun and squish it half way flat, on top. Use the ground as the other "flat".) Great purchase, but I wish it came with a 4ah battery, instead of 2ah or 2.5ah. perfect for a single large driveway or porch, sidewalk and roadway, after one recharge. ... show more

I bought this to replace my failing gas powered blower and also have the greenworks trimmer and hedger combo so it makes sense to stick with the same brand for battery use. I like that it comes with another battery however for the size and weight of the battery it is pathetically weak. On a scale of 1 to 10 in blowing power I would give this blower a 5, It's adequate but you must hold the nozzle tip low to the ground for the air to move anything in front of you unlike a gas blower. It's also heavy due to the battery size and weight. It's just OK but will do. ... show more

Electric Leaf Blower So far works good. Tip, don't store the lithium batteries in the location that gets very hot or very cold. Store them in the house, not the garage. I also have a gad leaf blower so I have something good to compare it to. It's not as powerful as the gas leaf blower but it's still seems pretty good. Spike gumballs and leaves get blown on my deck and this is convenient just to pop the battery in and blow them off the deck real quick. Also grass clippings get on my patio stones and this is convenient to quickly blow the grass clippings off the stones. ... show more
