Gas cap won't stay on. Could be a poor design or mine wasn't put together well, there was a crack in the oil case on the side of the motor causing it to leak oil. I put some JB weld on it hoping to stop the leaking. Other than that I had to adjust the carburetor to get it to run correctly. You may have better luck. The engine develop a leak shortly after getting it installed had to take it in and have a new end gasket put on also uses way more gas than a Honda original did

I was excited to receive this Cubellen 7.5 HP engine as a gift, but was quickly disappointed. When I opened the package, I noticed that the pull cord was frayed and broken. While I was able to replace this part, the engine still refused to start. It was clear that there was a more significant issue with the product. I'm extremely frustrated by this experience. The engine was brand new and unopened, yet it arrived defective and incomplete. I ended up selling it at a yard sale, which is a major disappointment... Wish we got the receipt!
