I've got a 2800psi gas pressure washer. The starter rope broke and I was looking to purchase repair parts for it. In my search for repair parts, I happened upon this Greenworks 3000psi electric pressure washer. I read the many reviews and decided to try it rather than repair my old gas pressure washer. I will never go back to the gas unit, EVER! I also purchased (separately) a 15-inch surface cleaner for cleaning my large driveway, sidewalks and concrete porches. I am extremely impressed with this Greenworks 3000psi machine! The accessories that come with it are fantastic. No messy gas or oil to worry with. This baby is powerful and the noise level is very low compared to the gas machine. It is quick and easy to hook up and use. I stand this unit upright and it takes up less room in my garage. I am so glad I decided to get this machine. It WORKS great. Get this unit. You will not be disappointed. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Very pleased with this purchase!

Unit is easy to assemble and set up. I bought 50 ft hose and a 17" area washer with wheels as I have a long drive way. I was a little concerned that the GPM (1.1) might be a little low for the attachment but my driveway was very dirty and the unit performed well - I used it for 3 hours going very slowly due to the amount of dirt and got excellent results. I expect future cleanings to go much quicker with less accumulation. The unit is very quiet compared to a gas model and it was easy to change out tips - just push the off button and bleed off pressure with a trigger squeeze, and then push button to start when ready to go. Good constant pressure and ran smoothly. Small footprint for storage. Very satisfied at this point. This is not the absolute top end in power (gas still best for top end power) but more than enough for most general home jobs.

Let me start by writing that I feel really bad for not giving this 3K PSI electric pressure washer from Greenworks a 5-star rating today. I considered it. But I settled on a 4 because, well, the holder for the wand is really lousy and while I was moving it today, the wand bounced out and hit me right in the face. Luckily for me I had the power button turned off; otherwise it could've been a catastrophic eye injury instead of one that just made me say a naughty word or two. And I rarely use naughty words. Psyche! And even though I've had this pressure washer now for three months, and I've used it quite a few times, I finally looked at a few other reviews today and decided to write one myself, even though I rarely write reviews for anything other than movies, TV shows, or books. I did write a review two or three years ago for a Buffalo Blu-Ray 100 Gig-capable burner because I liked it so much I actually bought three of them: two for my main house and one for our second home. Overall the burner is really good so I felt compelled to write about it. But I have three computers -- all varying versions of Microsoft Surface devices mostly because I can use them for free -- and I have a lot of personal data, around 160 Gigs actually. So I need a burner to back up that data on non-corruptible disc. And I'm very uptight when I fresh install my PCs from scratch so I create snapshots on write-once read-many Blu-Ray discs as I go. That way I can restore later to nearly any "flavor" I want when I run into trouble. And that can happen when, well, you use a Surface. (I'm teasing a bit. Overall the Surface PCs are pretty good. But if I even think I picked up a virus from the Web I simply restore from the latest snapshot, which takes less than 15 minutes. It's easier and safer than trying to figure out if my computer has been compromised. But don't forget to afterwards install updates and run your virus software against all your logical drives!) Back to our story. But another review for this washer brought up the fact that the wand holder is lousy, and he stole my thunder. I decided to buy a pack of bungee cords this morning before reading any reviews, and evidently that's how he fixed the problem as well. Just take a bungee and wrap it around the lousy holder and the wand. But he also brought up the fact that the pressure washer wheels aren't exactly level too which made him shim his frame; otherwise it vibrates if it's not on a perfect surface. Mine does the same but I usually just move it around a bit and find a surface where both wheels are on solid ground. I'm simply too lazy to fix that problem myself. Maybe I'll get around to it someday. Maybe not. Probably not. But besides these two issues I will write that the Greenworks 3K pressure washer rocks -- and not just when it's not on solid ground. It really is a great washer for the price, and it really is a great washer considering it is electric. I looked at the Greenworks site a few months ago and I guess they have a model that's one step up, one that uses two rechargeable battery packs, from memory. That would be really nice I will admit, especially if someone who buys this is perhaps a contractor who can't count on electrical outlets while working on a job. That model is pretty pricey though and I mostly use it on my one-acre property at home, where I have five buildings but plenty of outside GFCI outlets. And I have two long extension cords as well so I can use the washer pretty much wherever I need. My wife did buy a 60-foot yacht in the last year and I might use it there as well, if I get off the couch, and I get the courage. I would hate to damage her yacht as that might make her say a naughty word or two. Or maybe call a lawyer. I live in California and the state is really coming down on any landscaping hardware that is gas powered. So, by buying this one I should be safe for a while from the long arms of the law coming down on me for using something that's gas powered, God Forbid. I actually talked to a guy who works for Napa county a few months back as he and his crew were using a gas-powered wood chipper to chip the tons of tree material that came down on our property during the Great Napa Snowstorm of Winter 2023. They are nice enough to do it for free, bless their hearts, mostly because the county doesn't want any more fires if possible. But I'm nearly at 2K feet above sea level and we had about a foot of snow this winter, which took down many trees. And blocked all the roads too which nearly required a four-wheel-drive Jeep to get around, something I don't have. But I asked him, "What are you going to do when the state no longer allows you to use a gas-powered wood-chipper anymore?" and he laughed and responded, "We HAVE to use gas as there's no electric powered chipper that can do the job." But I do wonder what will happen to landscapers, in particular, when they're no longer allowed to use gas-powered hardware. I will admit, I prefer electric myself simply because there's less maintenance and I don't have to go and buy gas. Getting off the couch is so hard, after all. But I'm not really doing anything that's truly heavy duty myself although I do have an electric chainsaw from EGo, just in case. And I have quite a few other electric devices from that company that are very good, overall. In reality, I wanted to buy a pressure washer from EGo -- I could then use the same batteries which would save money -- but at the time of purchase they didn't have one. Maybe that's changed. I'm too lazy to look. This is probably my fourth pressure washer over the past quarter century. I have a CleanForce CF1800HD that I've used for years, and it was very good, but it finally died last fall. So I was forced to buy a new one which led me to the Greenworks washer. I needed one that's electric, I needed one that was at least 3K PSI, and I needed one that would be nearly as powerful as a gas-powered one since I actually pressure wash quite a bit and I need something that will clean well and clean quickly. After using the Greenworks I will say that it has exceeded my expectations. Well, outside of that wand that hit me in the face today and those wobbly wheels on a non-flat surface. Ahem. Well, if you need a new pressure washer I would strongly consider an electric model from Greenworks. I would also consider buying the model that uses batteries, if you don't mind spending a lot of money or you're a contractor. But if you're someone who will just use it at home this model should do the trick. Just don't forget to also order a pack of bungee cords to be delivered at the same time, something I wish I would've done earlier, like that other guy who's not as lazy as I am. And maybe be ready to shim those wheels as well if it rocks and it rolls -- in ways that you don't want it to.

Purchased the Greenworks model 3000 (psi) pressure washer on sale, and used it for two days outside surface cleaning in Aug 2023; liking the Greenworks model 3000 a lot. A quiet electric machine - online videos don't show how quiet it is. But online videos do show the Greenworks max psi is well under 3000 psi, eg the 15" Greenworks surface cleaner measured at 1000 psi (and the tips higher than 1000 psi), so the pwasher/surface cleaner should be safe for pavers. Packaged with wheels mounted; pwasher quickly assembled, no assembly issues, similar in size to my old gas 2600 psi Craftsman. Like its green appearance and its sturdy frame/body steel like my old gas pwashers. Its box arrived mostly pristine/undamaged, and parts looked sparkly new, unused - i see some one-star reviewers show otherwise. So thanks to those web videographers who measured the Greenworks psi pressures/gpm using pressure meters inline with gun and 5-gallon buckets to inform us of what each pwasher tip and surface cleaner psi and gallons per minute actually are. Greenworks should have easily provided that info, including their pump nomenclatures, so we as consumers can make a better choice, ie may not have needed the 3000 psi model if the pumps and internal electronics are the same for lower rated psi Greenworks models. For example, if a lower rated model has a pump to be avoided, then we can choose a better model. Used the Greenworks brand 15" surface cleaner on our wide (2-car) concrete driveway, concrete sidewalk, and 5' wide x 40 ft paver walkway, and delighted with the cleaning results. Even though I owned Craftsman gas pwashers for decades, did not know how low a psi pressure can be to clean concrete, so 1000 psi for concrete using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Using the surface cleaner is a must if you want to feel like a human when you are done, a great time saver). So the math falls to 500psi for each of the two surface cleaner rotating tips that clean concrete and pavers. Did not use the onboard soap reservoir yet- used a bucket of very diluted Zep concrete cleaner and just spilled it on and used a push broom. Phoned Greenworks, because neither their supplied instruction manual nor their online videos recommend a detergent, and their (annoyingly small print) instruction manual stated no acidic nor base detergents (page 9) should be used; that just leaves water as the detergent per their written directions. But the Greenworks responder suggested Simple Green as a guess for the soap dispenser Aug 2023. Purchased the Greenworks addon soap applicator on sale, but have yet to use it. fyi, entertaining to see the videos repeatedly miss which detergent to use; the video host only says "here is the Greenworks detergent reservoir", and skips to another pwasher part; an SNL moment. Did not find that the few second delay after pulling the gun/trigger or after elec powering on a nuisance as many reviewers suggested. An extension wand is required for the surface cleaner, because the supplied gun/wand are too short for using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Can purchase surface cleaner including an extension wand) No electric problem from a lamp post outlet 40+ ft from house with 12-guage underground wire on a 15 amp circuit ( I have not tried using an extension elec cord yet). Careful to keep garden hose and electric power cord and surface water separate. Initially, blow the surfaces. Rinsed the surface cleaner after each day of use; and relieved the gun pressure each time the washer was powered off to spend a little time rinsing a completed surface section. Smooth sailing so far. Btw, Trex does not recommend use of a pwasher, nor does Bob Villa recommend a pwasher on a house exterior - I still use the extension 22 ft aluminum threaded pole with replaceable brush and a bucket of very diluted Palmolive liquid dish detergent on vinyl siding to prevent my clothes from getting bleached by the stronger house exterior cleaning products, and this Palmolive solution is safe for Trex decks. More than a week later, amazed how good looking the driveway and sidewalks appear, wow! The age of the 36 ft concrete sidewalk is 42 years, the 50 ft driveway 25 years, and the 40 ft paver walkway 9 years. (Also cleaned a small concrete pad at our garage people door, and a nearby cluster mailbox concrete/aggregate pad for 16 neighbors on our cul-de-sac.) And yes, the Greenworks plastic holster for the pwasher gun is weak when in the upright/storage position; ok when in horizontal (working) position, but would prefer the decades old circular short plastic holding tube - reviewers are currently suggesting a bungee cord to bolster the holster; the reviewer used 3 holster bolts shown in his photos to anchor the gun whereas the model 3000 I received Aug 2023 only has two gun holster bolts. Also not a fan of the pressure hose holder which has a supplied bungee - our old gas Craftsman had a perfect hose holder on a strong plastic reel. But goodbye to gas pwashers! (applause). Hope this 3000 model will last; one-star reviewers do show some caution, and hope in general elec pwashers improve.
