I’ve placed 3 recent orders with GreenPan, none of which were packaged well. My first order was a set of 2 that came with damage to the rim of the larger pan. Because of poor packing, the smaller pan rubbed the finish off of the larger one during transport. I returned that set and reordered it. Luckily, the second set arrived in good shape despite similarly poor packaging. My third order was for this 12 in lidded pan. At first I thought it was fine. It arrived in the most padded packaging of the 3 orders. Unfortunately there’s a nick on the outer rim of this one. I don’t know if the pictures show this well. It’s small but sharp enough to draw blood. I was tempted to keep it and try to sand the sharpness down but for $100 dollars, I’ll go through the frustration of sending it back and trying again. Why try again? The pans themselves are great. So far, I have really enjoyed cooking with them. I love the nonstick surface and they are really beautiful. If you are lucky enough to receive undamaged pans, they actually do feel well made. My experience with these purchases have left me with the impression that GreenPan cared enough to make a great product but not enough to insure that it was stored and packaged properly in order to get it to the consumer in good condition. We received these pans from our wedding registry. Pros: looks great, cooks food well, and cleans super easy. Cons: lids scratch the ceramic around the lip, handles of both the pan and the lid get hot (my last set from another brand had silicon handles), the lids have a high dome and if you invert onto the pan for storage the lids on the sauté pans don’t nest well and scratch the pan. We also had an issue where some food boiled over and I cannot get the outside of the pan clean. Overall I’m happy with the cooking/cleaning aspect I love the pans, just wished for the money the design was more thought out. ... show more

Zero complaints. Super slick surface. BUT, to fry eggs you DO need a little butter. Other than that, it's great for cooking and clean-up. Also very attractive with the color and the gold colored handle and the convenient helper handle, which really comes in handy when serving. See through cover is a plus, as well. I expect the durability to be excellent as long as we avoid scratching the surface by doing something dumb! Lightweight. Like that it's both oven-safe and dishwasher-safe and also does not have teflon which can emit toxic fumes if overheated. ... show more

This is a replacement for a decade-old Zwillig pan which had lost most of it's non-stick qualities. Wow, has non-stick come a long ways! Everything just slides off! The pink exterior is more difficult to keep clean, but that's a low price to pay for cooking and cleaning performance.

I enjoy cooking eggs and other foods that benefit from a non-stick pan. However, my family and I are worried about the toxic chemicals used to adhere Teflon and other non-stick coatings to metal pans. This is where Greenpan saves the day! It's ceramic coating is non-toxic AND it works great as a non-stick pan. Just be careful to avoid super high temperatures as this will degrade the non-stick surface.
