To start the new year I wanted to get rid of unhealthy non-stick pans. I did my homework on ceramic pans and it was between these and caraway. These had a better price point but still pretty expensive,so I asked Santa for these. I inspected them fully when I got them to make sure no damage, they were completely scratch free when received. I put them away in a silicone covered rack and even used felt so the lids wouldn't scratch the pans. They are really pretty, very easy to clean which is what I was looking for, but THEY SCRATCH SO EASILY. I have had them a grand total of 21 days from delivery. I have only used silicone utensils in them, I even donated all our non-silicone utensils so that there would be no user error. The first 3 pics are of the smallest saucepan which I only just used today for the first time. As you can see it has scratches both around the mouth where the lid sits, and inside the actual saucepan (4th pic is to show bottom has no singe marks, first use for this pan). All of the other pans that came in this set have similar scratches after 3 WEEKS OF USE. ... show more

These are close to the “Rolls Royce” in pans. They are absolutely beautiful, heat is even distributed and you don’t need to put anything on high heat, they are oven safe, dishwasher safe (although we hand wash ours), non stick … I’ve never had pans like these). I did a lot of research and landed on these. We will be buying another set with some additional pans / pots as we cook a lot but these are amazing!!! ... show more

Month 7 update: They still look good, no increase in chips. They have developed a weird rust looking haze on the bottom. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said is something that happens and we can clean fairly easy. We still haven’t tried the soap baking soda mix they recommended. If it doesn’t work I will update. Other than that nothing significant to report. Month 3 update: They still look great no additional chips but we don’t really use the lids often. We do baby these pots. Their performance is incredible you see immediate changes in temperature as you adjust the stove. We have a gas stove. So far we are very pleased with these pots. My wife loves them. Update: The lids definitely chip the pots. We've been babying these pots and pans, hand washing, no sprays, low heat. Kinda bummed we were hoping the reviews were wrong unfortunately they chip. Took star down So I've been waiting for these to drop in price for $240 you can't find better quality since they're the original brand developing this technology plus the colors. My wife absolutely love them. The quality of the build is obvious, they're heavy and solid. It is very important you understand the restrictions of cleaning, maintaining and usage. The instructions are expecting the user to be "healthy" so certain oils and cooking sprays will damage them. Will update review soon. ... show more

I was hesitant to purchase based on the mixed reviews but I’m so glad I did, I absolutely love them!! I cook about 4 days a week and have had these for 6 months. They still look brand new and washing them is a dream. I read the directions that said to let them cool completely before washing and I’ve never put them in the dishwasher. I’ve bought almost all the pieces that go with these and was just searching to see if they have more options available. 1 lid did come dented but I didn’t want the hassle of returning. Just check first thing when you get them, mine hasn’t gotten any worse :) ... show more

I was so excited to see a black cookware set with gold handles that didn't cost close to $1000. I was even more excited this wasn't Teflon as I'm looking to get away from that even though I could go YEARS with zero scratching/chipping, the dangers of forever chemicals was no longer worth the risk. I have another Greenpan skillet which was good while it lasted but I've gone through two and they're good for about a year before the non stick property wears away and/or it scratches despite NEVER using metal with it and following all instructions for care. You can imagine my surprise when after less than 4 months of owning this cookware set that ALL THREE SKILLETS have scratches of varying degrees on the sides. (Two of them I hardly ever use and there is zero contact with anything where the scratches are.) I contacted the company asking for replacements given 1) they have a two year warranty which you would assume they stand behind and 2) I haven't even owned these for 4 months so there's no excessive wear and tear. I provided pics, the order number and told them to let me know if they needed more info to proceed with replacement. This was the company's response: "Chipping is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion. Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use. Any chipping around the rivets would be considered cosmetic and would not require replacement. The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium. We take great care in reviewing all warranty claims. We have experts who can easily determine whether a manufacturing defect is present, and based on this expert review all decisions are final. I would like to assure you that your product is perfectly safe for use." Aren't you happy to know that you're potentially about to shell out $400 for cookware that they consider it completely normal to be chipped after not even 4 months of use? Greenpan has lost a customer. I'm going to do more research on other companies with similar technology and am definitely going to update all of the people I've been raving to about this set how the company has a warranty they have no intention of standing behind even with proof. But you know, bon appetit on the 'perfectly safe' chips you could end up ingesting. *rolling eyes* ... show more
