I had a couple of Green Pan frying pans and really liked them. I recently replaced my Farberware set with these because they are so much easier to clean. Quality seems to be very good and so far no chipping or scratching, we only use wood or nylon utensils in them though. I can’t get over how much I love these pots and pans. I had one for the last five years and decided to buy an entire set. I am being very careful about not using anything but rubber spatulas, and it keeps them from being scratched. My cooking has improved 100% Because you can cook at a lower temperature and everything browns just the way you like it. I have not burned anything in these pans and everything comes out a nice light brown when I am frying in oil. They are so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. I do not put them in my dishwasher. These pans are perfect! Absolutely nothing has stuck to them….not even Mac and cheese. Was looking to replace my previous set with ceramic nonstick and did my research and found these were top rated and didn’t break the bank. Was a little worried that they were smaller than what I had but it hasn’t been a problem, I have adjusted accordingly. I had an everyday large pan that I used regularly and even though I can manage without I will be purchasing the match to this set separately for larger recipes. I am particularly impressed by how quickly the pans heat up and how easy they are to clean. I was concerned when I saw some of the reviews that said the pans lose their non-stick qualities after several months of use. I was afraid this would happen to me. When one of the pans lost its non-stick quality, I thought about those negative reviews, but then I discovered the "Renew Sponge" that GreenPan sends with the set, and I watched the video about how to care for the pan. When you burn oil onto the surface of any pan, it creates a coating that allows food to stick to the surface. This cannot be avoided, no matter what non-stick pan you use. The solution is to use the renew sponge that comes with the set to remove the film of burnt-on oil. Your pan will be as good as new. Also, it's a good idea to avoid high heat when using these pans for the same reason: high heat is not necessary because the pans conduct heat very well, and it increases the likelihood you will burn oil onto the surface of the pan, causing it to lose its non-stick qualities. ... show more

The motivation to buy these was that they are healthier than regular non-stick pans. I feel like they heat up faster than my other pans, so had to adjust my cooking methods slightly. The only negative I have is when cooking eggs, they stick to the skillet (tried using oil and no oil with same results) which makes it difficult to make the perfect easy over egg. Love these pans! You don't have to cook on as high of heat. Very non stick. One thing, noticing the rim of the largest pot is wearing somewhat, but the interior of the pan is holding up really well. Two months after purchasing these pans, I’ve found them to be completely ineffective. They significantly underperform and are inferior to stainless steel alternatives. Despite only light use, such as sautéing chicken with olive oil, the coating began to deteriorate within a week, making it impossible to cook without food sticking, regardless of how much oil or butter I use. This picture is the aftermath after use. The permanent staining is along the edges and cannot be removed. Additionally, the underside of the pan is starting to peel away. For those seeking a healthy cookware option, I recommend sticking with stainless steel, as these pans do not justify their cost. ... show more

I have only had these pots and pans for a month, but they are a big improvement over my previous set of Calphalon. I have to get used to cooking at medium to lower heat as suggested by the mfg. Not suppose to use high heat, but the heat induction on these pots and pans is so good it is not necessary. I did have to replace my metal utensils with silicone ones, but that was OK....did not want to hurt the finish on them. Food glides out easily (especially cooking eggs) and clean up is quick.
