We got the lavender set of 16, = 3 pots, 4 pans, 5 lids, 4 low quality utensils that melt if leaned on edge while cooking. To not damage the pans, don’t use on temp higher than medium! You really won’t need to turn the burned over 5 (medium). All cooking temps are about one notch lower than in our old pans. The utensils that are included, Would be great IF they didn’t MELT and/or SNAP in half the second use. It says to use oil or butter every time, you need like a dime sized drop. If you don’t, and something sticks, put a half tsp water in the pan and cover with the lid for 15-30 seconds, it will be unstuck. It’s a whole new slippery game when trying to flip things. Like an egg, you will want a fork to hold it still while you get a spatula under it. The handles are comfortable and the weight of the pans make it easy to toss diced potatoes up and over for flipping. Things cook more evenly in these than my old pans, and clean up is crazy easy. Toss a napkin in the grease, soak it up, wipe clean let the cool!! Then and wash with soft dishrag. We had issues with first shipping because color we ordered was unavailable, but second color choice finally arrived. We are enjoying this lavender color. Even though the coloring varies from pans to pot. The pans are mostly the same pinkish-lavender shade but the big pot is way different shade of pale flat light lavender. One bummer about this set is the lack of a large frying pan, my old set had a big 13 inch frying pan and the largest one in this set is like 10 inches. The tall sides on the largest frying pan are a nice feature. Yesterday I told my S.O. that these pans are my favorite “house needs” purchase that we have made since the vacuum. As someone who purchased the GreenLife 16 Piece Nonstick Pots and Pans Set as a starter kit in 2021, I can confidently say that it has been a reliable companion in my kitchen for almost three years. When my husband and I moved in together, I was on the lookout for a cohesive cookware set, and the non-stick feature of this set caught my eye, despite some mixed reviews. I'm delighted to report that this set has stood the test of time, remaining almost unscathed throughout years of daily use. The nonstick surface, a critical factor for me, remained effective even after acquiring a few inevitable scratches along the way. It's worth noting that I exclusively used silicone spatulas and avoided any steel utensils to preserve the nonstick coating. Being an avid cook who prepares intricate meals regularly, I've put this set through its paces, and it has kept up with me through three moves. I must emphasize that I washed the pots and pans in the dishwasher after every use and they did not withstand any damage from that! However, the breaking point came when I moved to a new home with a gas stovetop. Unfortunately, the set did not react well to direct heat. While the nonstick surface held up admirably, the bottoms of the pots and pans started to show signs of damage and emitted an unpleasant smell. Understanding that direct heat is notorious for affecting pans with coatings, especially non-stick ones, I decided to part ways with the set. It's important to note that I don't attribute the set's shortcomings to its quality. In fact, it performed well considering the circumstances. Direct heat can be harsh on coated pans, and these held up nicely despite some wear and tear. The major downside was the lingering smell, which prompted me to replace the set with a stainless steel one.
