It's good to have if your mattress is too soft and you need another layer to make it a little bit firmer. I wish I would have known that it wasn't solid and it was just slats in the opposite direction. That's the reason for the four stars. Very sturdy, does what it's supposed to it's a good buy.

It does the job. But if I had to do it over again, I should have measured the frame and had a board cut to size. Place an old sheet over that and put the mattress on that. Would have cost me less.

Not only did my slats not come with the fabric covering as shown in product images and some reviews, but the dimensions are inaccurate. for a 60" wide bedframe, the slats are actually 60 3/8". If the measurements had a tolerance inside the maximum width up to a half inch this would have still worked. How do you manage to mismeasure wooden slats to cut for a product that absolutely requires a precise size? ... show more
