  • Way smaller than they appear. Seem to work well otherwise.
We’ve all seen the TV ads, and we know the gimmick. Fried gummy bears, fifteen eggs and cheese. As with all of these supposed oil free fry pans, you still need some oil. Anyone that says any different is lieing to you. You don’t need much but you still need some. My only complaint is these pans are tiny. The large fry pan is the size of a normal fry pan. These pictures make it seem like this is the big pan, not the normal one. The sauce pan is nice, but way too small for normal use. The small fry pan is barely able to handle a single egg, if that. I thought I was getting a fry pan, a big fry pan and a normal sauce pan. Instead I got a normal fry pan, something I may be able to boil water in, and a fry pan too big for a single egg and too small for anything else. How durable? Don’t know. They do specifically state the bullshit they do on the commercials voids their warranty. No knifes slicing steaks in the pan. Given a bit of oil and a little care, they seem to perform fine, other than the fact they are about half as big as you expect. ... show more

  • Took a gamble and came away impressed
My wife is the cook in the house (She's a professional chef), and she had been using a set of Calphalon pots and pans for a while (as well as some cast iron stuff). I came across a review of the Granitestone frying pan on Youtube and showed her, and she was really impressed (and highly skeptical) of the non-stick properties demonstrated in the review. So for fun I bought this cookwear set so she could try it out in person. She's been really impressed with how little cleanup in involved, and these have replaced the Calphalon as her daily cookwear. When you're done cooking just wipe off with a damp paper towel and most messed will clean up quick. Just avoid using really high heat. We still use the cast iron for searing meats, and occasionally bring out the Calphalon for tricky things where we need really good and even heat dissipation, but for everyday meal prep, these work great. ... show more

  • Money Well Spent
I am so pleased with my Granite Rock Cookware. I've been using them for a little over a month and have tried so many others but, this one really works as long as you follow instructions and DO NOT use metal utensils. Very little oil (if any) is needed when cooking and can I tell you that cleaning these pots and pans is as easy as rinsing under water. There is no need to use dish soap and strip away any seasonings the cookware my develop over time. Whatever you cook including anything with oil or butter, cheeses, oatmeal, grits, bacon, eggs, I mean anything rinses right out and the pots/pans are not greasy after. My next purchase is going to be the square griddle pan. ... show more

  • Smaller than the pictures imply
I just received them, and though I haven’t cooked in them yet (so I can’t comment on their non-stick ability) I will say the set is smaller than the pictures make them seem. If you’re gonna be cooking for more than 1 to 2 people, you’ll probably need something bigger.

  • Nothing sticks
Nothing sticks to them even if you don’t use any oil, butter or nonstick spray.

  • My new favorite cookware
I have used these things to make all manner of dishes that are usually a nightmare to clean up after. I'm talking grilled cheese, marshmallow treats, caramel sauce... Everything fell right out on its own, or needed just a light rub with a sponge. I'm also going to say I used these for a month before writing a review. I had to remind myself of that when I used them last. Bear in mind, I only use plastic, silicone, or bamboo utensils, although I did use a metal fork once or twice. The surface still looks brand new. Great value. ... show more

  • GRANITESTONE Burns Your Food!!!
I bought the frying pan just for the main purpose of frying an egg with no oil. Pan on the stove, turned on the gas, cracked the egg, and dropped it into the pan. Talk about a mess. Egg stuck to the pan. Used the spatula to turn the egg over, but the egg was stuck to the pan and wouldn't move. Then it started to burn. Finally, turned the egg over and total disaster. Ended up with a burnt half-raw egg. Thank you GRANITESTONE, for another false advertisement! All these cookware manufactures give you are Promises! Promises! Promises! Garbage man just received a free cookware set. ... show more
