loved the light while it worked. Ordered in March, 2020. The solar panel stopped working in July, 2020. Seems to be a short. I tried to contact Sunny Pioneer via email, no response yet; I called the help line in (Canada) and was told that they are a third party retailer - they are trying to help me replace the solar panel but make no promises. Very disappointed. Too much money to spend for the short period of time it worked.

These are lightweight and flimsy. NOT worth $60 . I requested a return and was told the Seller had to approve. The seller keeps emailing with suggestions on how to use the lamps. I have requested SEVERAL times for a refund. No shipping labels or return addresses have been provided to me.

I really love this… It is on at dusk and it’s still on till Dawn. It’s a whitish light but it’s not bright for those of you that don’t like bright LED lights that was my concern when I ordered it it is not like that. If you’re looking for something like a lamp outside this is not it. It does cast a beautiful glow and some light to me this was more about ambience. I’ve gotten many compliments. I will say though it is light I put it on my side porch when it’s going to be windy and I personally do not want it to get wet but I think you could leave it out it just won’t last as long. You could probably put P gravel at the bottom and it would actually look good I just haven’t done it yet. It’s a brownish Closer to gray in color probably in full sun it would eventually fade. It’s a great buy even though it’s slightly pricey it’s all a matter of what you like and what you’re willing to spend your money on :-)

Bought two of these for low level light on our deck as it matched our existing wicker furniture. Fully assembled out of the box, these were a breeze to set up. Loved the lights and how they blended seamlessly with our existing furniture. Four months after purchasing, one of the lights stopped working. Reached out to customer service and told them one had quit and we needed to replace one of the solar panel/light heads since the rest of the unit was fine. Had a response in less than 24 hours apologizing for the problem and saying they would send a new light. Four days later, we had a whole new unit, not just a replacement solar/light head. I could not be happier with these lights or my experience with customer service! Awesome product and even better customer service.

Minimal assembly. Nice. However, it comes in 3 pieces that don't seem like they would fit together in any reality or any planet. But they kinda do. The plastic white cylinder slides inside and pretty much just sits wobbly-like over a base within the wicker casing. Then, the solar piece is merely placed all willy-nilly on top. There are no ways to secure any of these pieces. They seriously just sit there on top of each other. Press the ON button and just forget about it. The light is nice but not very bright. But that's okay, because this is a very nice looking piece that is more about creating a mood than anything else. It does that very well but also adds a nice amount of light. I had it right at the front of my backyard deck where I get all the sun. Okay bye.

I wanted to love these because they look beautiful and are light weight. They bring a sort of class you’re looking to add to a deck that will not break the budget. The problem is that after a serious rain last summer one of them stopped working, I tried ordering a replacement but the FEDEx driver never came when they were scheduled and when I tried returning it I was going to be charged. I live in Chicago so if I leave out the package it will go missing. All that set aside I loved them so much I purchased another to replace the one that stopped working but I brought them out last week and left them out and they don’t work. It’s just unfortunate that they are one season wonders or maybe I just received a set that is defective but if you don’t care about that, they Are beautiful. I wish they would have worked again this year after last summers fiasco because they are gorgeous. Overall it’s a hit and a miss.

This looks really good when it's on. The switch is really janky and isn't even screwed down to anything, but it has a separate compartment you can open and just short it. My balcony is in the shade and it only gets about an hour of direct sunlight, so it was only working for about 45 minutes before it died. I opened it up and there is a little controller board and a separate board with the LEDs. I measured 2.658 V across the LED board while it was on with 78.4 mA when it was almost fully charged. I wired it up with some heat shrink and two 68 ohm resistors in parallel, twist tied the cord running down the back of it, and now it's USB powered and stays lit all night. There is a little bit of fade in the middle but it's not bad. I was thinking of putting some aluminum foil on the bottom to make it more reflective since the frosted tube in the center lifts right out, but I'm lazy and it's already pretty glossy.

This is a tall, well made, outdoor light. We put one by our hot tub entrance to light the 2 stairs. Provides a nice glow. Not too bright but since the light is so big, it's "enough" light. Solar powered and has been fine in the rain so far. Would probably want to cover or take in for winter months, but no big deal. I just ordered another one for our patio to put by our back door stairs. It's a white glow, as most solar powered lights are, not an amber color. Looks a tiny bit like a fancy bug zapper lamp, but it's still cool and modern looking. Haven't seen too many lights that are similar.
