Supper easy to install. This fits right into the BMW stock NAV mount and provides wireless charging. I previously had the older style that had to be connected to the phone for charging. This became an issue because the lightning charging ports on the iPhone sometimes wear out and don't always make a solid connection and I would find out in the middle of a ride that my phone battery was not charging. This mount eliminates that worry. It does hold the phone securely, but you do have to make sure the red latch at the bottom covers the top of your phone or phone case' edge or I can see how a phone may "fly out" if it doesn't. The only thing I did have to do is loosen the stock NAV mount to rotate it up so the red latch didn't cover the top of the TFT screen when riding. The mount itself seems solid but it is large and a bit off center from the NAV mount and it's skewed more to the right, so your phone isn't exactly centered over the TFT. Small issue. I have not taken the bike off road yet with this holding the phone so I can't report on how well it holds the phone in that situation, but I tried to knock the phone out of the mount purposely in my garage and the phone didn't move. I think this is a great alternative to the more expensive Car Play screens, with the only downside not being able to control your phone through the Wonder Wheel.

In less than 10 rides, this thing dropped my new iPhone not only once but twice during a ride, and my iPhone has been completely destroyed. Don't waste your money on this thing and risk loosing your phone as well.... to top it off, because of a couple of days, I cannot even return this thing anymore.... what a waste in so many levels!

I love this mount! Installed it on my R1300GS in a few minutes. It keeps my phone fully charged and has a very solid grip. the GPS is clearly visible and doesn't wobble. Bonus: the waterproof design saved my phone during a sudden rainstorm. Value for money!
