I’ve been using this treadmill for about a month and have walked over 275,000 steps while working on my computer. The bad: - When it arrived, the box and the unit smelled absolutely horrible, like garbage mixed with fish. I almost asked for an immediate return because it was so bad. However, I let the treadmill sit in the sun on my patio for a couple days, and a lot of the smell went away. For a couple more weeks I could smell a faint fish/garbage smell when I kneeled down to lubricate the belt. Now the smell from the unit is gone. I immediately put the box and packing materials in my garage and kept it in case I needed to ship it back, and it definitely stunk up my [detatched] garage for a couple weeks. Now the cardboard is just a little smelly if you sniff it. - The auto shut-off feature is weird. It generally shuts off after 90 to 95 minutes of use, but it’s not consistent. I’ve been caught off-guard a couple times during a long conference call when the unit starts beeping loudly and shutting off when I’m talking. Now I know to turn it off briefly around the 85-minute mark and restart it when I’m on mute. - The distance number on the display is totally bizarre, I can’t imagine it being correct in miles or kilometers. The step count number seems to be about 90-95% accurate. All the numbers restart from zero after the treadmill is stopped, so I’ve been tracking my steps in a spreadsheet out of curiosity. The good: - It worked right out of the box without any problems - My coworkers have told me that they can’t hear me walking while once conference calls - I think using earbuds and the noise canceling in Microsoft Teams helps.. - It’s easy to lubricate and adjust the belt (I walk 4-6 hours per day and lube it about once per week). - It’s light enough for me to move and lift myself (though it is still big and awkward to carry). - The walking surface feels quite stable and is long enough for me (I’m 6’ tall). Sometimes it feels a bit bouncy if I wear less padded tennis shoes. Overall, I’m glad I bought this treadmill. I am already worried about what I’m going to do if it breaks - I like walking so much more than sitting. I don’t expect it to last more than a couple years at this price point, but it was an easy way for me to try out a walking desk and see if it’s something I can commit to for as long as I’m working from home. It did lead to me having to buy new walking shoes/socks/insoles, so the expenses do add up! But I enjoy feeling healthier and more productive while chained to my work computer. ... show more

I've wanted a treadmill for my standing desk for years and finally decided to give one a try -- used it every day since it arrived and love how convenient it is to put in place when using it, and how little space it takes in storage. This product does have significant room for improvement (detailed below), but the seller is well aware of it and working on improvements. Detailed ratings: Treadmill: 5-stars -- perfect size, shape, sturdiness, ease of use and storage, etc. Remote Control: 1-3 stars -- definitely cheap plastic, appears to have drained a new battery within the first day, and had issues with a 2nd battery on the 2nd day... potentially a deal breaker since the treadmill is not usable without the remote. So why the 5-star rating overall? Customer Service: 5-stars - when I contacted support about the defective remote and explained I couldn't easily return the treadmill, customer support acknowledged they're actively developing better remotes and offered: 1) continuous shipment of new remotes, including new more reliable ones as they become available, and 2) full refund and no need to return the treadmill. It's hard to know whether customer support will continue this degree of generosity to all users, but at least in my case, purchasing this treadmill ended up akin to receiving it free as an early beta tester to try it out, sharing feedback with the seller to help them improve the product for future users. Overall, this team has invested the time/effort in R&D to make a great treadmill, and as they invest the time/effort to improve the remote this will be an all-around great product and excellent value for the price. ... show more

I purchased this treadmill in December 2022 and must say, it's definitely a good investment. As someone who primarily focuses on cardio at the gym, having this treadmill at home has been a real time-saver. Plus, the fact that I have a standing desk makes it an even more convenient addition. In terms of features, this treadmill does not disappoint. It displays essential stats such as time, calories, speed, distance, and steps, allowing you to keep track of your progress easily. Additionally, it comes with a remote control, which is a nice touch. However, there is one minor annoyance that I wanted to highlight. When you start or finish your workout, you need to manually turn the treadmill on or off (the red button on the photo). Otherwise, the display remains illuminated all the time. The real issue is that when you do turn it on, it makes quite a loud noise. This can be especially irritating in the early mornings when you want to avoid waking up other people in the household. Although you can switch it to silent mode afterward, it does get a bit annoying having to endure the loud noise every time you turn it on again. My personal tip for making the most out of this treadmill is to wear a Smart Watch on your ankle when working out. This way, you can ensure accurate tracking of your activity even when your hands are on your desk typing or doing work. Overall, this treadmill is a good investment with valuable features. While the loud noise issue might be a minor inconvenience, it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a reliable treadmill for your home workouts. Just remember to commit to using it regularly, unlike me. I keep telling myself that I'll start using it at least twice a week, but haven't quite gotten there yet.
