Our family loves these scooters! After terrible experiences with the popular razor scooters, we sought to find something better and took a chance on this one. Let me just say, it has far exceeded our expectations! They beat out the more known brands hands down. After trying it out, we purchased a second one for our other child. The kids love how much better they can control the steering and they love the colors options. The colors are vibrant. The first one we bought was blue and the second one we bought is labeled as red but is actually a pretty vibrant pink. I purchased this scooter for one of my nephew to use when he visits me. I purchased it along with a razor scooter for his older brother. The scooter base has given some trouble since the purchase. The bolts near the front wheel meant to keep the wheel axel in alignment with the handle bars continually loosens during use. Then if you turn the handle bar to make a left turn the handles and stem will turn but the wheel and axel does not turn with them. This has caused a number of near falls for my nephew. We tighten the bolts often and this is still an issue so we are going to look at replacing the parts from the hardware store to see if that helps. The overall strength of materials is good. And the wheels that light up are still pretty cool. ... show more

This scooter really is great for the price and came as advertised. My only complaint is that the LED lights in the wheels are fairly dim and you have to be moving pretty fast for them to come on.
