Awesome cookware. Infact, its so slick. That as I heat one of the skillets, it keeps wanting to slide off the stove eye. And I've checked with a level. Everything is set spot on level.

Overall, I am pleased with this cookware. I wanted something that is oven safe, which it is. However, the dishwasher safe claim is not absolute. Some reviews say it is not and the material that came with the set say not to put it in the dishwasher. This displeases my husband, he's the clean-up crew, and he is claiming it is bait and switch advertising. My biggest gripe is that the smallest skillet was delivered with a teeny tiny chip in it. The box and packing material have been consigned to the recycling bin. Gotham's website direct me back to Amazon for returns. I don't want to return the whole set, I just want a new skillet to replace the chipped one. Between a rock and a hard place here and I don't know where to turn. UPDATE: I have contacted the manufacturer and they are replacing the chipped skillet! Yay!

Gotham steel pan and pot set has some good qualities, such as even cooking and good heat distribution, along that nothing really sticks to them, I’ve cooked several different dishes and they all turn out great! (And not because I’m Gordon Ramsay! ;) However, the set has started to chip on a few of the pans, which could be a potential drawback to some. It's worth noting that minor chips on the inside of the pan and pot may not affect their performance, but it could be a concern for some users for longevity. Overall, I say the set has some positive features, but the chipping issue may be a concern for some users.

I have been SO impressed with this set. I waited several months before leaving a review, because I wanted to see how they would hold up over time. They haven't disappointed! They are truly nonstick--6 months after purchase, with daily use, I can still cook eggs on them without oil and they come right out. They also are an absolute breeze to clean, both by hand and in the dishwasher. (I throw them in the dishwasher most of the time, and it doesn't seem to harm them in the slightest.) I recommend them very highly!!

I replaced my Farberware set with these and for about 6 months I was satisfied. The coating is not scratch proof by any evaluation. I only use wood utensils 95% of the time and all of them have some degree of scratching. The small frying pan is the only one that is scratch free. It release sunny side up eggs perfectly with the flick of the wrist, but I paid more than $12 for this set. The heat distribution is marginal and two pans have even warped under medium heat. This is not good. It really demonstrates the level of craftsmanship in the set if these warp on the bottom under medium heat and light use, plus scratch easily. The handles are also very hot to the touch. Not scorching but hot to handle. On the overall, a set fro you easy bake oven or daughter in college that uses DoorDash most of the week.

I have owned these for over 18 months. They are used almost every day and are as good as the day they were purchased. If you take care of them they will last. However, they are not fool proof. If the heat is not right for the food you are cooking it could stick. For example If I cook eggs they never stick. If my wife cooks eggs they stick everytime. Same pan and everything. We have a glass stove top. Below is a list of how we care for our pans. -Our pans are only hand washed with nylon Brush or soft sponge and food always comes off easy never had to work hard to get them clean. -Never used metal utensils on them -Never used spray oils on them - felt Pot and pan separators so they never touch (note that the outside of the pans are anodized aluminum. Aluminum oxide is hard and is used in some sandpaper. So it's possible that the bottoms of the pans could scratch the tops of the others if they touch)

There is nothing I dislike. I can't imagine how people are having troubles with the Gotham Pro pots and pans. Unless they are leaving empty pans on a full heat burner? I don't generally use metal utensils while cooking. I just don't like the noise. I got this set after I trial tested 2 fry pans for 3 years. They are as clean and shiny today as the were when I bought them. No burned-on crud on the outside of the pans either.
