THEY ARE SMALL. This is a supplemental set. You still need larger pots for family meals or pasta. Now that's out of the way. I cook dinner-for-one a lot. These are perfect! I bought my first set two years ago. I liked it so much that I bought a second set six months later. I use the frying pans almost daily, the pots several times a week, and the woks and flat pans occasionally. I use them over gas flame. They are in excellent shape considering heavy use. Few scratches and wear. PROS: Easy to use. Very easy to wash by hand or dishwasher. Fast to heat. They don't take up space in the fridge or cabinet. Pot lid has a vent. CONS: The handles are metal with a thin silicone grip. (However, the silicone has held up well - exceeding my expectations) ... show more

Perfect little cookware...and I do mean "little" - but every piece is surprisingly sturdy and of excellent quality. Once I got over the shock (and annoyance!) of seeing how small they were and thinking I made a dreadful mistake by ordering some "doll-house" size pots and pans), I found they are perfect for our 2-person household. I have used them for veggies, eggs, roux, burger patties, and lots more. They are better than my other non-stick pans and the heat conduction is so good that they cook great at low temps. They just take a swipe to clean, and can be stored in a shoe-box size space. They are not large enough to cook a chowder or spaghetti but perfect for reheating portions. The fry pan is perfect for frying 1-2 eggs. The wok shape pan is great for reheat small portion leftover or stir fry some chopped onions for my burger. I use the pot with the lid most often, from cheese fondue, soup, oatmeal to rice. Perfect for 1 serving. The square shape is perfect for making omelette for sandwich or just grill a cheese sandwich or toast a piece of bread. The non-stick surface works really well. So far nothing sticks. These are great pans that I have used most frequently since I bought it exactly a year ago. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is that I just noticed there was a tiny pin size chip in the middle of the sauce pan. I am looking for a replacement sauce pan. If that is not available, I may just get a new set. ... show more

Note; This is a small set. I have purchased all the Gotham steel pans I can find and all have performed well. The rivets do get food stuck to them and you need to soak the pan to get it off if this happens but if you use these correctly they hold up well and perform great. You have to use lower heat than you would think and you need to use non metal cookware in them. They are scratch resistant. You can still scratch them. Sometimes it's hard to cook in them because if you have to flip something it slides around in the pan and you can't get the spatula under it to flip it. Very easy to clean. The pans in this set are small. The square pan is slightly larger than a piece of bread to give you an idea. I cooked an egg in the pan they call a wok and it was about the size of an English muffin when I was done. ... show more

These are not full size pans, they are single serve and work exactly perfectly for that. Bought these for my teenage grandson who can't always be home at meal time. The griddle perfectly fits one grilled cheese or French toast, the frying pan fits one burger or a one egg mini omelet. The sauce pan doesn't get much use, but he does use it to reheat left over soup, and the wok is just big enough for one pack of ramen if you don't make soup, holds just enough water to boil them for noodles, but not enough water for soup. So for what I wanted, these are perfect. The kid can't always be around at meal times, and he prefers fresh cooked food rather than left overs, so this works perfectly for him to prepare a single serving of actual food when he gets home. ... show more

Pretty disappointed in this product. I read through a lot of the reviews and the manual that came with the product, so I could make sure I was following directions by using low/med heat, nothing that could scratch the coating, waiting for the cookware to cool before washing, etc etc etc. I ended up with an extra-stick set of pans and am using more oil than ever. I can liberally coat the bottom of the pan with cooking oil to fry an egg, but I’m still unable to get the egg off the pan using a plastic spatula without leaving practically the entire underside of the egg in the pan. The yolk breaks half the time and then I just get irritated because if I wanted a broken, half-cooked egg yolk, I’d just throw an egg on the hood of my car in the summertime. Actually, the hood of my car is probably more non-stick than these pans. My cheap, 4 year old, scratched up Teflon pan is definitely more non-stick than these products and I ended up going back to the old reliable cancer pan. I stopped using the egg pan and I’ll be looking for a higher quality product that doesn’t leave half the food crusted on its surface. At least the pot can’t screw up boiling water, but I’m not going to attempt to cook anything in it anytime soon. ... show more
