This pot serves it's purpose. You can definitely scratch the inside easily, but using the right utensils would make that easy to avoid. It's a decent size, I was able to cook a good amount of stew in this pot. All in all, I would recommend. Just be careful to not scratch it !

Gotham Steel 5 Quart Stock Pot: A Great All-Purpose Performer I recently purchased the Gotham Steel 5 Quart Stock Pot to replace a bulky, traditional stockpot, and it has quickly become a favorite in my kitchen. Its ceramic titanium non-stick coating is the real star—it makes cleanup after cooking pasta, soups, or chili an absolute breeze. Nothing sticks, and a quick wipe or rinse is usually all it needs. The pot feels surprisingly lightweight, which is a major plus when dealing with a full 5 quarts of water or stew. The handles stay cool on the stovetop, providing a secure grip. I’ve found it to be truly multipurpose: excellent for boiling pasta, simmering sauces, making rice, and even steaming vegetables with the included glass lid. It transitions from stove to table nicely. My only minor note is that, like most non-stick surfaces, I avoid using metal utensils to preserve the coating. Well made pot. I bought one because i was tired of searching for a colander when making pasta. You have to remember to lock the handles before inverting the pot , but it drains well. The glass top is great as well. Would buy again!

I love this product! I have a ton of pots and pans and mismatched lids but this is my go-to pot I use the most (like everyday). It holds up to 5 quarts, has built in strainer on the lid so I don't have to try to find a strainer before I drain it, and the little knobs easily locks the lid on. And the best part??? The handles don't even get hot so you can pick it up straight off the heat to drain it and not have to worry about burning your hands. ... show more

I wish I had purchased this pot years ago. It cleans up easily and it is so easy to drain liquid from it with the strainer lid and the locking handles. I do not worry about scalding myself when pouring out the liquid anymore.
