It works as a toy. It needs to have loctitite added to the bell nut otherwise it keeps falling with the ringing of a 4 yr old. Paint is soft so "gold" is easily scratched. The bell is easily recognized from a distance so we know where the little ones are playing.

Not as big as I thought it was. Pictures show the sizing compared to female sized hand. Very easy to mount on playground wood. There are six holes to place screws on the horse show plate but they only give you two. Need to get more screws if you want to have a sturdier hold. Overall, does what it’s purpose is. I’d suggest. The media could not be loaded. Not too loud but I can see it annoying some neighbors just the same! Cute horseshoe base. I included a video so you can hear the sound level. We decided to upgrade our swing set this summer and added this bell plus a phone, binoculars and a telescope.

My kids love this and it's great for imaginary play. It's a dinner bell, a ships bell or a school bell all within the first 10 minutes of play. It's been a huge hit as an add on to our swingset. It is quite loud, so I'm not sure how much the neighbors care for it, though!
