It took a minute to get it to link to our WiFi. It has good quality and we can see in the front of the house. It alerts you if someone lingers and when they approach. It links to Alexa, I can see in real time, and if you want more features you’ll have to pay. It was easy to set up and easy to take off.

This is an excellent product and a good value to boot! It arrived within hours of ordering with a partial charge and reached a 100% charge within an hour right out of the box. Installation was simple with the step by step set up in the app — which is well designed and user friendly. Video quality is excellent with crisp HD detail. I set the motion detection to less than medium, and haven’t had a single unwanted notification so far. After a couple of days playing with it and fine tuning the settings the battery is still at 100%. That it operates with an SD card for video recording (not included) and not dependent on a monthly monitoring subscription is a huge plus! You can spend a lot more for a comparable unit and not do much better. Highly recommend this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was new to video doorbells, so I reviewed lots of video doorbell products online and bought another brand for my alley entrance to my condo. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted another for my front door but wanted to try a different brand and chose Aosu. I’m so glad I did! The Aosu is better in several ways: the picture is clear and gives me a wider view. I did not want to hard wire anydoorbells, so I chose models with a rechargeable battery, and the charge on this product’s battery lasts three times longer than the one I have at my alley entrance. Additionally, this model can use an SD card to record videos which means I don’t need to sign up for an icloud service. Lastly, the app is easy to install and has many helpful features. I plan on replacing the first video doorbell I bought with another Aosu, similar to this one soon. I’m very happy with the quality for the price I paid! . Highly recommend! It has advanced human detection, which is a game-changer because other cameras give you so many false alerts from like, wind, animals, or random motion. This one? It knows what’s important – people and packages. The video quality is super clear, both during the day and night. It captures every little detail. And I love that you can talk to whoever is at the door through the app — it’s really convenient when I’m not home or just upstairs and don’t feel like going down. Plus, the included chime (which I keep in my living room) is loud enough that I can hear it from anywhere in the house. It was also so easy to set up, totally waterproof, and it looks really nice too. I also love that there’s no monthly subscription or extra fees — once you buy it, you’re good. Easy to setup, compatible with android, good camera quality. This camera is decent for the price but does not capture everything. I do get the notifications on my phone but I'll go back and check the clip and the vehicle will have already passed by the time the camera records. There will be hours where there is no activity recorded and I know there has been movement in front of my house. A vehicle will literally be sitting in front of my house and the camera will not notify me. A package will be delivered but the camera won't capture the delivery person walking up the sidewalk and dropping it off.

If camera clarity and simple setup are your top priorities, this doorbell does the job well. But if loud chimes or a slim design are important to you, you may want to explore other options. Overall good product for the price.
