I thought that this might be more of a powder rather than a cream but I have to say because the product is a little bit more creamier than anticipated, it's so much easier to apply! I have dirty blonde hair and I will say the purple color showed up beautifully! I used it on my roots like in the picture because I wanted to try that edgy look and I was really happy with the overall results. It's really easy to use the product, all you have to do is put a little in your fingers, work it into your hair, let it's set and you're good to go! My tween wants to dye her hair but I don't know how and I don't love the idea of bleaching her hair. I thought this would be a good way for her to have a pop of color but not need to make a mess with bleach and hair dye. She has shorter hair and says this adds a tiny bit of stickiness (texture) but she can brush it out and that it smells really good. She's only tested a few sections at a time and not her whole head because it doesn't come with a lot and she wants to save it, but she seems happy and not having to mess with bleach and hair dye make me happy. ... show more

I was rather shocked when I opened up the package containing my purple hair color wax. I’ve gotten silver and green from different companies or sellers before, and they were basically the same size, and in no comparison to this very small amount of temporary hair dye wax. About how much you can do your hair is one time, and only a small part of it, like in the pictures shown. I found that very disconcerting, that it was basically a one use, and not even near to covering my very short head of hair. It’s a good product, came vacuum sealed under the lid, but it is just so not worth it because basically it’s a tester or sample size. No idea why they have it in this size and not larger standard sized containers that can do a full long head of hair or have more than one application for short haired people. Sometimes we all want to dye our hair and have some fun, while also not wanting to commit to a long-term color. I was looking for some hair color that would do just that; and this 'Good Dye Young' - One Night Only (Purple) is working out well for me. The dye is creamy, and easy to put on. It doesn't have a harsh chemical smell, and you don't have to worry about mixing it or all the other hassles that come with other dyes. This product is easy-to-use, whether you're an adult or younger (my teen daughter wanted to try some color, and so I felt confident that this would be a better option for her, and it has been). This is a great product, I'm very pleased with the results. I also appreciate that this vegan and cruelty-free, which is important to me when considering using something. I ordered this as something fun for my daughter. As mentioned, there are no instructions provided so I just grabbed a little a put in on her hair. It’s like a clay substance and just kinda stayed in glops in her hair. I thought I must have put it on wrong, so I watched the video. It does say to warm it up, so I rubbed it pretty good in between my fingers and then applied. Same result. I tried very hard to work it in, then decided to try to comb it in. Whatever is in this made her hair tangle like I’ve never seen. It took me awhile to get through the knots and by the time I was done with the knots, the color is quite faint(as seen in photos). I’m bummed as I thought this would be fun. It probably works better for those that do have short hair. Long hair is a hot mess with this in it. ... show more

This product comes in a small metal tin. I’m not sure why I expected a larger amount. The dye is a paste with an iridescence in container. I tested the color on some of my hair and it goes on easily but with a sticky and slick texture/look. In order to get a good saturation I feel like you’d need to use the entire container. I like the color when applied and it’s improved with a quick brush, but it’s definitely a novelty product that won’t stretch far in terms of multiple uses unless you’re only going a small section each time. ... show more

I got this to try on pink before I decided to do the semi color. I love this brand so I knew this would not disappoint. I actually loved that I could wash it out easily. So moms if your kids want to try colors and you worry about it coming out this one comes right out with water and shampoo. I love the product is sealed under the cap especially if I’m picking this up IN store. There is not much in the tin, so use sparingly. Great for tips or highlighting areas rather than whole head if you want it to be used more than once. Color washes out easily on non-porous hair, on porous hair an orange toner might be necessary after. Rinse out tub well after showering, and remember not to sleep with it in or your pillowcase will be dyed! Cute for the occasional use! ... show more
