  • It's a strap, it works and it's incredibly convenient
Size: 145 Color: Black
I have been using this strap for several months to make sure I could provide the most accurate feedback possible. First off, I got the Lite, so it's thinner and less bulky than its counterpart. I ordered not knowing there was a difference. This one is very slim and low profile but can get a little uncomfortable over a long time or with a heavier camera. Thankfully, my cameras are not very heavy so that has been less a concern. The best part about Peak Design gear, is that everything is designed to work with everything else. I have the wrist strap too and the quick disconnect tabs works flawlessly between the wrist strap and the camera strap and work among my various cameras as well. Very pleased with that aspect alone. Furthermore, the quality is something I would expect from a top tier brand and I am very pleased with the products from Peak Design in general. Whether you just have one camera, or several, Peak Design is a modular system that you can invest in and be happy about knowing you have quality gear for the occasion. The only negative feedback I could think of is, while using the strap in cross-body carry, the strap get in the way of the fold out screen on my Sony a7IV. My Nikon doesn't have a flip out screen so this was not an issue with that camera. The solution was easy enough, the strap is easy to adjust and I just have to give myself a little more strap to compensate. Funny enough, that feature is built-in to the strap by design, so it is definitely not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of when setting up your gear. ... show more

  • Can't go wrong with Peak Design
Size: 145 Color: Black
It's hard to overthink a camera strap but this is a quality piece of equipment. I honestly like the anchor system since it makes the strap easy to take off and store. The system works great; I prefer one anchor on the side and the other underneath for a lens down, sling style carry. Running across a soccer field with the camera slung across my body, it's very secure and I have no problem trusting it. ... show more

  • A great camera strap to replace the original
Size: 145 Color: Black
The original strap that came with my camera was thin and uncomfortable. The Peak Design strap also allows for easy removal when needed, such as when using a tripod.

  • Well made, wide enough
Size: 145 Color: Black
I also have the Peak Design wrist strap and like the "anchor" method of connecting and disconnecting. Kind of expensive, I guess, but very well made and practical.

  • Love Peak Design straps.
Size: 145cm Color: Ash
I’ve used the Slide strap on a DSLR for many years. Just bought a Slide Lite for my Fuji. My old Slide is very functional and very comfortable, especially on 7-10 mile hikes. This new Slide Lite is just as functional but adds a lot of style to the equation.

  • Awesome…..BUT
Size: 145 Color: Black
Product is high quality and well made 5 Stars BUT not wide enough if I slap on heavier lenses. I used this on a Canon 80D and the Canon strap that came with the camera was more comfy. I ordered Peak Design Slide SL-BK-3 which is wider way more comfortable.

  • Expensive but not too many other options
Size: 145 Color: Black
There seems to be an untapped market for camera straps. All the ones I've seen are some combination of bulky, ugly, and skimpy. Decided to try the Peak Design Slide Lite to see what the hype was about. Things I like: - The strap seems to be very well made, and good quality nylon weave. Almost like the seat belt on cars. - The buckles look pretty solid too. Although I'm not sure what the metal flippy part is for. I originally thought it was to "lock" the buckles to prevent it from sliding. But that doesn't seem to be the case, since I was able to slide and adjust the buckles while in the "locked" position. Maybe it's a beer bottle opener? Things I don't like: - The base plate for the tripod mount seems pretty flimsy. I don't plan on using it, because I can shoulder sling the camera when the straps are attached to the sides of the camera. - Wire attachments. I'm not sure I can trust these thin wires to hold my camera for extended periods of time. The fact that PD implemented "wear indicators" really tells you that these things are expected to snap at some point. - Plastic quick release. It's incredibly difficult to find camera straps without quick release. I only have one camera, so it's not really a desired feature to change camera straps often. The quick release on other straps are the bulky ones you see on backpacks. Those things tend to pop out if you pull hard enough. PD's system is clever but those little discs will wear out too. That's why they sell extras. I could use the strap that came with my camera but it's covered in Sony's logo and pretty gaudy looking. It's also made poorly. Very thin material that itches my neck. Overall, the Slide Lite is a much nicer strap compared to everything else out there. But I feel like it's overpriced for what it is. ... show more

  • Great strap that’s not for everyone.
Size: 145 Color: Black
I tried two different Peak Design straps and they are incredibly frustrating. The photographic industry is focused primarily on men, making it very difficult for women to find accessories that aren’t pink or cutesy. Peak Design makes fantastic straps that simply won’t work for many women. Even at their shortest position, they are way too long for my 5’2 stature (and at that point, they are also very bulky on the shoulder because they are close to doubled up). Additionally, they are too wide on a smaller frame. Honestly, it’s pretty infuriating. I‘m a concert photographer and these straps are perfect for those times when you need multiple camera bodies. They are by far the most rugged and versatile straps I’ve found, but after buying both versions and trying to make them work, I just gave up. I’ve now started using their anchors with straps made by other brands. Such a great concept. It’s a shame they don’t make a shorter version. ... show more
