This is a great stake if you are in soft ground. I have had to use them in hard ground a couple of times and you have to be careful because they bend and break pretty easily. They will however punch through some harder ground if you drive them carefully.

Sorry, these are nice looking and all but as a tent stake no go. They are soft aluminum, and have bent easily when used with a rubber mallet. When they break, they are extremely hard to remove from the ground and pose an issue as they are quite sharp (use pliers).

I purchased the black tent stakes which were less expensive than the other colors offered. I felt that, since the stakes came with reflective cord, color wasn't that important for locating. If I'm wrong, I can always paint them. The holding power and durability of these stakes are comparable to other more expensive "Y" versions. All in all, these stakes are a good value.

Nice carry bag with pull string and push spring keeper Identical to other tri stakes but for way cheaper why spend more for something your gonna pound into the ground get these trust me they are awesome for the money.

First time out they bent. One bent going into the ground the other bent with just a little wind. Not recommended.
