The quality is so nice, upon our quick inspection. Packaged well, shipped fast, and quality for a great price. Will update if any changes when we get to open up fully, and put to use. I know our hammock and camping blanket from Gold Armour have worked great, which is why we do not hesitate to add their products to our camping gear. A heavy duty quality tarp with lots of tie outs. Not lightweight though. The guy lines are cheap and one began to fray after first use. I replaced those with guy lines I already had. I am strictly rating the tarp itself, I had no use for the pegs or guy lines. I got exactly what I wanted. An excellent cover for my hammock. It handled the wind and rain better than my previous lightweight hex tarp. ... show more

Creates a nice shady place to sit and dine/eat. Easy to set up with a couple of telescopic poles. Sheds water...reason I purchased was because my popup collapsed overnight after a heavy downpour. No problem with this tarp and it takes less room when transporting.

This was my first experience hammock camping, but I love this tarp! It was huge! It took me a bit to figure it out (first time setting up a hammock/tarp for sleep). The extra tie downs made it really roomy inside. I left the bottom grommets unhooked the first night. The second evening there was rain and we had a cabin to go into for the storm, so I cinched up the ends. The bottom I hooked together with some spare carabiniers in case the wind picked up a little, making a cocoon. Nothing was wet and it only took a minute to unhook. I did stake the bottom on the second night. Speaking of staking, the stakes on this are awesome too! I'm looking forward to ordering more items through gold armour. My next purchase will likely be a bug net. ... show more

I have been using this for months for hammock sleeping. I enjoy sleeping in the hammock year-round and was looking for something to protect from snow and rain. This has so far stood up to very heavy storms and winds without any issue; one of the paracord ties ripped during a snowy storm but I replaced it and figure this is probably typical of lower quality cord. Bring some extra cordage just in case, but the tarp should survive well, at least in my experience so far. ... show more
