Amazing stuff! I've tried the other scents in this brand and also other brands too but this one holds the best for my hair! Doesn't leave the white residue and I've been buying it consistently now for months. Not too greasy, moisturizes, shines, and holds my edges in place for long periods. Most times I do my edges and soon I step outside it begins to curl up, but not this product. Its holds wonderfully and doesn't make my hair hard. Love the large container size for the price too! One thing about goiple?!?! SHE STAYS DOWN!!!! This is the ONLY gel I’ve used for my edges or a slick back that doesn’t become white and crusty and keeps its form even when i sweat. The only thing that brings her out is soap and water. It’s also not too sticky. It starts out shiny but matte’s out so it’s not too greasy looking. I am a fan of this hair product but I recently bought a jar and it was a brownish color so I returned and another jar was sent to me but the same discoloration. Apparently it was contaminated . Pros: This gel holds all day (7-10 hours) and DOESN'T "melt" from the warmth of your scalp/skin after 1hr +. Its clear, thick and easy to apply. Cons: when wearing slick ponytails, if you apply more on top of previously gelled hair, it will get tacky & look dull (not shiny). Almost impossible to brush or comb through. You have to wash it out. Frequent use will dry you hair. Regular washing & deep conditioning are Strongly Recommended. Scent: the coconut scent is very faint with a very slight chemical smell that follows. However, I use other pleasant smelling leave in condition on my hair so it doesn't really matter. Note: just like most gels, if you like have oil on your scalp or hair, this gel will turn white (chemical reaction.) ... show more
