My desk and work area is next to a nice, big window. I get a nice, big view! In the winter, however, I also get all the usual draftiness and chill from having a nice, big window. Tried out this space heater to see if I could warm up my corner; it works exceptionally well. The thermostat is an adjustable dial to allow for more precise temperature control. It has a fan-only setting and two power levels; I almost always use the lower one. I've accidentally kicked the heater over - it was fine, so I appreciate the strong durability. After a set number of hours, it will auto shut off, which is good because I will absolutely forget it's still on. And of course, there is a sensor under the unit that turns off automatically if it's tipped over. Safety first! This was a great buy for the value - it's durable, it heats very quickly, and it makes my nook much more cozy.

Though the product page leads one to believe there is *control over the amount of heat it emits* THERE IS NOT. You CAN CONTROL the amount of air that passes through this nicely designed product; BUT OVER AND ABOVE one controlling the fan THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE!!! (What is REALLY DISAPPOINTING is that a pair of videos produced by "star" Influencers here on Amazon that GUSH ABOUT how this space heater allows you to "absolutely" control the amount of heat produced. (Oh yeah, babe, "100%"! NOT.) What makes my poor little head spin (having owned several space heaters over the decades) is WHY, if you have a control knob for temperature – which moves from it's presumably lowest "setting" (indicated by the "-" symbol) all the way up to its highest temperature output (a "+" symbol) then (and correct me if there's something I am missing here) there must be a difference between the bottom of this controller and its top-most setting. NOPE. As I was told by their VERY FRIENDLY "support" person I got on the phone "If the heater gets too warm for you simply unplug it and turn it off". Hey, now THAT sounds "convenient"! (NOT.) I could go on but why burn any more of my productive time... Even if they sold this thing for $5 there would be no "value for the money". WHY is this being sold at all?! (And I am DONE watching any more CHIRPY "Influencer" videos!) WHY do reasonably intelligent, "savvy" shoppers spend SO MUCH TIME on Amazon wading through product offerings here? Answer: Product Page misinformation AND loopy reviews ("Oh! I just opened the box and it looks SO-O-O-O COOL! AB-SO-LOOTLY 100% GREAT!") Yep.

So, basically this small but amazing heater has been saving my days. 🥹 Do not let the size fool you, it works pretty good!! Keeps me warm and it’s not too noisy, also love that actually looks cute and does not need too much space. If someone is suffering and feeling cold during the winter, do not hesitate!
