  • Highly recommended for enthusiasts, no scam
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Arrived two whole days earlier than expected. Card came brand new with no issues, bench tests are great so its the real deal. You get what you pay for. More than happy with my purchase. Runs faster than the founders edition and isn't at a 5000 dollar price tag at the moment of reviewing. Only complaint is the support bracket is a bit awkward to use, but you could always just get a different one for 20 bucks. Card is a beast ... show more

  • Terrible Customer Support
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Do not buy this card. Some of them may be fine, but if you get a faulty one then you are going to become frustrated very quickly. Customer support at Gigabyte is a joke. One of the fans has occasionally grinded against the shroud since I installed it, but they have offered zero support to remediate it. ... show more

  • 5090 works
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Came very fast..plz note I've been using my card for about 2 months now and it hasn't caught fire. But it still does smell like the "new pc " smell. Im assuming that smell is the plastics..otherwise it works.

  • Excellent graphics card.
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Awesome card. Of course it’s expensive. But will hopefully last a very long time. I undervolted mine so it’s only drawing 400-410 watts of power under full load. With a slight overclock, it’s performing nearly identically to stock with much less power draw and cooler temps. I did remove the sliding gigabyte logo because it was causing a bit of a rattle. Other than that, solid build for a “middle of the road” 5090. ... show more

  • Bent radiator fans
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Opened with damage to radiator. No damage to box, looks like it was likely bent during manufacturing Update: it works fine, I bent fins back into place. Just cosmetic damages.

  • Fire, not literally if you plug in correctly.
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
Does it need a review? You know what it is. Do you want to give up a kidney for 6 more FPS in Tarkov? Then do it. Do you want more than 20 FPS in borderland? You need it. You want to feel like Elon on his mars base? It runs hot!!! If you have a west facing room and try to game at 5-6 PM in a South Texas summer? You better get an auxiliary A/C unit or sweat in that pleather gaming chair you got in 2017 because you wanted to be a gamer. Zero issues other then my electric bill looks like I’m mining bitcoin in Phoenix in an uninsulated shed, room temp matches that same environment. You could under-volt, that might help. ... show more

  • Fan grinding noise if not supported in just the right way
Style: GAMING Size: RTX 5090
The gigabyte fan shroud cannot bear the weight of the video card without flexing and causing fan noise. Sorry, but that's a laughable design issue. True, this won't affect sideways-mounted setups. But in a traditional PC tower, you need to be careful how you support it (support it from the corners is best). I have one of those motherboard-mounted GPU supports from my previous 4090. Using that alone, I got fan noise when the fans ramped up. It's because it tries to support it from a midpoint on the fan shroud, which is apparently a no-go. The fix is to buy one of those magnetic-telescoping gpu supports and add support in the corner. The chipset is a wonderful step up from the 4090. When fine-tuning LLMs, I see the full 30% speed boost, something like +50% memory bandwidth (which is awesome), and the 32GB is sadly the best I can really get without dumping in thousands. Side note: Pleasepleaseplease offer 64GB VRAM in the future at a price point normal people can afford!!! ... show more
