These butane torches are better than the average plastic ones that I see around town. I have two of them and they work great. The copper is more golden than bronze color. I don't mind that. I like the metal housing. I hope the igniter last for a while.

The media could not be loaded. The copper body torch is an excellent soldering torch. Flame is large and hot but changes in size. There is a built in locking device so all you need to do is turn the knob and set to desired flame size. It's durable and easy to fill. 5 stars all around.

Nice metal version, expensive, feels great but it leaks. At first I though it as user error like I bumped valve when not in use, but no. After the second time of trying to use it and it had no gas I filled it, put in an out of the way spot and waited a month...and sure enough no gas. I have a 2 pack pencil style which cost $10 for both that works like it should unlike this expensive, good looking paper weight! EDIT Sept 2025 ------------------------------------------------------------- Seller reached out to me and replaced the torch after the return window. The new one does NOT leak. Cudos to seller and I'm a happy camper now!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This 35 dollar lighter won't even light every time. It takes 5-10 sparks to get it to light. That is when it will light at all. Maybe I got a defective unit, but Amazon says exchanges aren't a possibility. Luckily I was able to get refunded.
