    • The instructions are garbage
We ordered this for my son's birthday in early December, and it was scheduled to arrive a week before his birthday. It did not arrive until several weeks after the scheduled delivery date. Assembly... Geeze, this was a pain. I'm usually good with instructions, if I even need them. This was a mess. The instructions came on some badly Xeroxed copy paper. It was nearly impossible to see the photos, and the instructions were not clear, and even skipped a few steps! Horrible. I figured it out & got the net up, with only having to backtrack a few times. Took me a couple of hours per day over two days to get it up & figured out - maybe 4-5 hours all together. With competent instructions, I could have had it done in 2-3 hours easy. It really isn't all that complicated, but there are a few places that were very specific and it was unclear how to assemble pieces properly, or if it mattered what side they went on. Since we've got it together, it seems pretty good. My son has only been able to use it a few times - we're in Chicago, but had a warm December, so it would have been nice to have it when it was originally scheduled, but since it came in late December, he's only had a couple of days mild enough to play with it. It does seem to be handling the snow just fine so far though... ... show more

Pretty flimsy rim & poorly welding. Odd assembly and layout. — I bought this a little prematurely, and now that my son is actually old enough to use it , within months it’s starting to show it’s quality. The rim support unwelded!?!????? Come on , If it was something else, ok… but the rim being hollow and poorly welded is Unacceptable when full size basketballs are supposed to go through. Hope the seller addresses this. ... show more

Excellent product for the price - very stable , height adjustment easy to change - useable for all age groups - assembly will take 1-2hours but directions are fairly easy to follow - the hardware is individually bagged according to the step your on - you do need a second person to accomplish a couple of the steps - very good purchase ... show more

The assembly instructions left much to be desired. They used one term at one point in the instructions and then a different term at another point in the instructions. The photos in the assembly instructions were very dark and failed to help in the assembly. No contact information was included in the packaging. A phone number of email or web site address would be nice to have just incase a part is needed. I can only that the product is made to last. ... show more

Had this for two months. So unstable even when put all the way down (and with a ton of weight in and on it) it’s blown over twice and cracked the backboard and rim bent. Bolts snapped. Assembly is a nightmare. Difficult to adjust with one person let alone two.
