So although this works it's a little on the flimsy side. If this were an outdoor display and there was any decent wind, it might blow over. I would suggest putting a sandbag on the try feet just in case. Putting it together was very easy and the size does give you some leeway as to height requirements. I like that it came with a little carry case to put the disassembled pieces into.

My partner is trying to get their board game off the ground. They took all their stuff to PAX, and I noticed all the big posters that other game companies were using to advertise. We were definitely missing out, so I got this to help them better showcase their game next time. So far, this stand has been sturdy as long as the poster board is placed properly. Naturally, the more you extend it, the more top-heavy it becomes — but that’s to be expected. The black finish is a great touch, keeping it sleek and unobtrusive so it doesn’t distract from the poster itself. This stand is much more basic than the description makes it sound. The telescoping part is tiny, with most of the height coming from screw-together poles. That means you can technically leave a section out to shorten it, but your adjustment options are very limited compared to something like a camera tripod. The whole setup is also extremely lightweight, so using it outdoors requires extra effort like clamping it down or adding sandbags. The sign holders don’t adjust either, so your sign has to be the right thickness to fit securely. That also means only rigid signs will work—anything flexible like fabric or paper just slips out. For a stiff signboard of the right size, used indoors at the provided height, it gets the job done. Beyond that narrow use, it falls short.
