  • Great quality and great value
Size: 600W/12V-ETL
Here is my experience to share. Hope it helps for anyone to consider to buy an inverter. I did a small home project to use a small solar panel as a power backup when there is a power outage and/or use solar power for my electronics a few years ago that needs a good inverter. After many hours of research on Internet, I bought the first Giandel 600W Pure Sine Wave in early 2019 (picture in the right), it was perfect. There is no weird hiss sound when using for my computers and TVs. It is still great as of today in use almost every day because I have an automatic switch that turn it on for around 10 hours a day. When I decided to add a backup battery, I just bought another one of the same branch from Giandel (the picture in the leftmost) last month (Apr 2023). Both of old and new ones work perfect. I will definitely buy again if I need in the future. Living in California, occasionally, there is not a surprise for P&G to shutdown the power without notice due to million reasons such as wild fire risks, etc. Owning a great inverter have saved my days many times. Another great thing is that Giandel has a wonderful service team also. The picture in the middle is another Giandel inverter, 2K, that I received as a replace for the 2K inverter that I bought in late 2019. The 2k inverter was just a backup and hardly put in use. When I reconnected it, it got an issue for some reason that might be too long in storage or some insect got inside or somehow I might not connect it properly, it went bad. I just tried to contact Giandel to check if there was a simple way to fix it. Because it was out of warrant period, I did not expect a replacement. However to my surprise, Elsa from Giandel contacted me and offered me the replacement. ... show more

  • Compact, Quiet, Passed my "Blender Test"
Size: 600W/12V-ETL
The media could not be loaded. I use this with my 100Ah LiFePo battery to power small appliances--lamp, mini-heater, and white noise machine-- when I go camping. Plus handy during a power outage. I was impressed with how quiet it is. No weird smell. And it didn't warm up much while running a blender and Christmas lights, pulling 420 watts for a good stretch. I like the easy screw on caps for attaching to the "+" and "-" battery terminals. Customer service: Excellent. They respond to my many questions and concerns. That fills me with hope in case something goes wrong during the 18 month warranty period. I love responsiveness. Prevent Sparks: Anytime you connect a battery to an inverter a pop/spark happens as the capacitor quickly chargers. Avoid by bridging negative terminal with a resistor for 5-10 seconds, before connecting as normal. Slows the current = No scary spark! 30 ohm, 25 watt ceramic resistor. ... show more

  • Workhorse!!!
Size: 600W/12V-ETL
This little giant has been working for over three years and has never been turned off once. Runs two tv's, Starlink, and an incubator right now. Fan rarely comes on. I wish I could give it 10 stars!!!

  • Great for RV install & Portable Power Station. Not ‘plug & play’ for car though.
Size: 600W/12V-ETL
Purchased for a portable power station build inside a large toolbox. • 5 Lbs. • 8.75” x 5.75” x 3” (+ room for airflow & wiring) • (2) 120VAC Plugs, (1) 5w 2.4 A USB plug Although a little large, it seems to be well built and has a jewel like quality and fineness of fitment. That is offset by shipping it with Copper Coated Aluminum (CCA) cables that have a poor cold weld on the negative (ground) cable alligator clamp. I think this is common, so- if you are experiencing beeping when turning it on, pull back the plastic on the alligator clamps and check the connections! For my needs & usage- it is perfect. Small, extremely well engineered, safe for any electronics- I’m very satisfied. But, at 5Lbs. & almost 9” long- it isn’t exactly a plug & play tool. For emergency use- mine wouldn’t have worked out of the box, as a battery clamp had a bad weld. Also, not being able to plug into a 12v socket (in a car) reduces its usefulness as well. If you were hoping to run a printer in your car & charge your laptop during the day- this will require planning, mounting, wiring, etc… It has (2) 120v AC plugs, so you may need use one for a power strip (multiple small draw items) & a TV/soundbar in the other! There is a 5W 2.1 Amp DC USB plug for passing through some DC power as well. The manual recommends grounding it for safe use and there is a threaded grounding screw mounted on the front panel- like a grown-up inverter! But there is no ability to hardwire it to a power access box? Based on 600W, many will use this in conjunction with a BIG inverter installed in a RV to charge: laptops, tablets, cell phones, camera, drone & tool batteries & perhaps run TV’s & soundbars without running the battery eating 2K or 3K watt monster in the basement. Mine idles at 3W (0.24A or 0.25A) and is 90%+ efficient under load. It’ll work great if the wires are sized properly based on the distance from the battery bank. It’s nice to know that if I leave it on by mistake, it’ll only draw 6AH in a day. Using ring terminals (like the inverter side) I hooked up to a 50AH LiFePO4/LFP battery, it ran fine, however, since I had very short runs from the battery to the terminals and I doubled the wire runs for both Positive & Negative to not waste the CCA and ensure enough electricity flow. It’s a heavy little brick of an inverter (portability is in question, as the battery weighs 15 Lbs. too!) so, for safety, I mounted it on a 3/8” sized sheet of plywood to reinforce the bottom of the toolbox! ‘Portable’ when complete is going to be in the eye of the beholder. 35+ Lbs. is too much for my 5’ 4” 110 Lb. wife- I will be the beholder. Conversely, if you want a good Pure Sine Wave inverter to run/charge smaller AC electronics: TVs, soundbars, printers, wifi, routers, laptops, tablets & cellphones from a battery without your 2k or 3k inverter (heavy idle draw, under-utilized)- this is a great solution! Over gauge the wiring to the battery using at least 50 Amps as your draw- it will run better, cooler & last for many years! You need to be able to continuously discharge 50 Amps to run this at full power (600 Watts), so make sure that your battery can handle that much load-for the length of time needed- if you plan on running multiple items. Heavy draw on small AGM’s & lead acid batteries will cause significant voltage sag and damage both the battery and inverter if it is drawn down too far for too long. The alarm beep starts at 9.8v & cuts out at 9.5v which can happen quick with a tired battery or one that is not fully charged. I like how well designed and engineered it is, but- if I was plugging in a printer in my car- this is overkill. You can get smaller (lower wattage 500W) pure sine wave inverters that can & will plug into your cigarette lighter (12v access or power port) for half the price. All are much less expensive than this one. But, a new Apple laptop or tablet is pretty expensive, a lot more than the price difference of a very good inverter. So, consider your needs and how you intend to use it. ... show more

  • Great little Pure Sine Wave inverter
Size: 600W/12V-ETL
We now have 2 Giandel inverters on our boat, a 3000 Watt and this little 600 Watt. We use the big one for heavy appliances and only turn it on when we need it. The little one works for all our electronics charging and whatever small loads (including a Starlink setup). It's been installed aboard for 2 years and still going strong. Great unit, great value. ... show more
