Bought this for my daughter- who is a barista by trade- she uses it daily. Frother is great. She was ecstatic to use this for home use. Not for commercial use as it will shut down (overheat?) when you do more than 3 in a row. Just unplug and plug back in and it’s reset. This is perfect for home use. Three accessories that come with it are perfect to make designs. The handle where the coffee goes was initially tight and hard to lock in place, however the more you use it- it becomes easier to lock in and open to clean it.

Love the sleek look and just the right size for counter top. Makes a great cup and foaming wand is great. Be sure to let first stream of water out before frothing. Definitely need a napkin or towel handy. Only one drawback I can see so far. After making an espresso it takes a bit of time to cool down before it allows you to brew next one. There’s two of us so we need to stagger our espresso making. Espresso could also be a bit hotter. All in all it’s a nice machine and does the job.

I bought this machine after reading the reviews not realizing at the time that Amazon posted reviews under this machine for another GEVI espresso machine. I tried making espresso, and espresso came out hardly warm. This happened on all 4 occasions I tried to use this machine. When I went back on Amazon's reviews and typed why is my espresso coming out cold one of the AI answers was to check the temperature but my machine does not have anything that shows the temperature. Then I noticed the photos posted by reviewers were for another GEVI machine (but under the product I bought). What Amazon is doing is taking the best reviews of GEVI espresso machines and posting under all GEVI's machines which is very misleading if not cheating! Other issues with this machine are: 1) the product comes with a frothing pitcher but Amazon bundles the sale with another one with your order at extra charge. 2) I used minimum amount of milk (120ml) in frothing pitcher and not even two seconds after starting the frothing process the milk was going to overflow had I not stopped it. 3). After you are finished with making the espresso (no more coffee coming out of the drips) and you pull out the portafilter (I did this after drinking my coffee), there was full of water floating on the coffee grinds. This machine is a big zero as far as I am concerned.

I'm editing my review, since I would like to point out what outstanding customer service this brand has. I was contacted proactively, and my situation was addressed very professionally and satisfactory. Original review: It's a good looking machine, but overall I'm not satisfied. I had the same issues I read in other reviews. The machine vibrates so much when brewing, that you have to hold the cup so it doesn't fall off. You're supposed to be able to use the single shot to manually decide how big the shot is when pushing the button for 3 sec, but that never worked. Nor does the milk steamer work correctly. I've worked as a batista and know how to use these machines, but the milk won't froth. It makes a loud clicking sound when I turn the steam knob.
