If you are looking for a George Foreman grill that is dishwasher safe, this is it! I purchased this grill in March 2025, and I was really skeptical that it was truly submersible. It has truly met my expectations, not only does it grill the meat perfectly and the food taste delicious it is easy to clean. This is my preference of cleaning: I usually let it cool down and then soak for a few minutes and then wipe it down with a paper towel and place in the dishwasher. This is a good grill. It warms up quick, love built in grease tray that comes off. Con and warning: It is NOT dishwasher safe despite box,directions and advertisement here that it is! I waited 6 months before deciding to try dishwasher and then grill wouldnt work. DO NOT submerge or put in dishwasher! I removed control and did it right. This was disappointing, I tried contacting mfg and was unsuccessful. Amazon did help me with replacement. Other con: there are holes in bottom grate for grease to drip so it causes heat to escape. It isn't huge deal but I do prefer solid grates to contain heat and even surface heat. There is room to improve this grill. It will work great if you get it. ... show more

I love this grill! I've had some in the past, but not like this! First, it cooks really well. For burgers, I just turn it to max; it preheats in around 5 minutes. I throw the burgers on and they're done in about 8 minutes; nearly perfect and juicy every time! And then once it cools down, I just unplug it and throw the 3 pieces in the dishwasher. Easiest cooking of meat ever. Ooo.. I need to try making a sandwich on it :) Not worth losing a star, but I wish it were slightly bigger. It's perfect for cooking for two people, but not more. If I needed more, I think I would just buy two grills. It'd be worth it. ... show more

This is the best George Forman grill I have ever owned. It cooks fast designed to catch all the grease from the meat with a removable tray, on the bottom of the grill. Fully immersuble, non-stick. Update: After less than two months, every time I plug it in, it trips the GFCI breaker. I've read a review saying NOT to put the "dishwasher safe" grill parts in the dishwasher. I do like the grill enough that I'm going to order another one, and even past the Amazon refund date I contacted the manufacturer directly and they were very helpful and are going to refund my purchase. I see a lot of reviews saying this won't hold 4 burgers. If I buy pre-shaped burgers, it DOES hold four of them and cooks them within about 5-6 minutes at the highest setting. This works great, and it's nice that you can remove the electric element and put the rest in the dishwasher. The non-stick also cleans up well if you wash it by hand. Very handy little counter top grill, love cooking burgers on it. ... show more

easy to use, versatile, easy to clean (by hand or dishwasher). the adjustable temperature is nice, but no indication of what temp it is set at, do half a star off for that. the other half star off is because when you lift the lid to 'load' it after it's preheated, it can easily disengage from the power connector without you knowing and it just gets cold and your food doesn't cook. you have to be sure to check that the power connector is still fully seated after you open/close it. and if you do this when the food is actually cooking, you have to use something to shield yourself from steam that comes from the back. ... show more
