I was hesitant with only 7 reviews but since they were all 5s I pulled the trigger. The unboxing and assembly was simple. (about 45 min total probably only because my hands are not very strong). I was hoping the “white” was not a white white (with bluish undertones). The color is more a creamy white. Stylish enough that I don’t mind it in my living room. Comfort: The chair is comfortable for my size (5’2”) but would do well for a taller person. The seat seems stiff and I hope it softens up which will most likely another leather chair has done so. I’m hoping this chair is the solution to my sore back (work from home, lots of sitting hours). Hope this review helps.

Although the screw holes had alignment issues, as others mentioned, I still give it 5 stars. The size is generous enough to pull my legs up, wiggle around, or share the seat with my cat! (I’m a petite woman.) The back doesn’t support your head, but that’s what I wanted. The leather is nice and soft. It rolls and swivels with a solid, stable feel.

This chair is very sturdy, comfortable, and well made. The leather seems like it will last a long time. I didn't think it was as hard to assemble as others have mentioned. I screwed the bolts into their holes prior to lining up the back and the arm rests to make sure that the treads worked ok. Also made sure to only tighten each screw about 1/2 way until every screw was was in place. Fully tightening was then easy. I have 2 negatives and therefore not 5 stars. First, I don't think the chair gives much lumbar support. I ended up buying a strap on cylindrical shaped lumbar support and that made a big difference. (I have a cheap office chair that has an adjustable lumbar support behind the fabric chair back and can be raised or lowered to fit in the small of your back.) Second, the arm supports are fixed in place. They do not raise or lower. I found they were too low so I bought strap on Memory Foam armrest cushions that raise the height by 2 inches. After those 2 modifications the chair is perfect.

The color is slightly darker then the picture, it’s a very nice dark brown. It was easy to put it together. It is very comfortable and only time will tell how well it will hold up. Overall I like the contemporary look of it and happy with the purchase.

UPDATE!!!! My initial impressions of the chair was very positive. HOWEVER this has changed dramatically after discovering a major design, material, and assembly issue with the mounting of the padded arms. Please see the images attached for reference to the following comments. I soon discovered small and short screws appearing on the floor. I did not realize they were used to mount a thin metal plate to the padded arm. The screws were working loose from the pushing force I would apply on the arm to assist me getting up and out of the chair. Unfortunately multiple screws fell out from one arm and I ended up bending the mounting plate downward. I was able to bend it back flat and install larger and longer screws all around as replacements. To help with locking the screws down I also applied Gorilla Glue on the screw threads before tightening them down. Now for constructive criticism of the padded arm assembly itself and the material/parts used: 1. The metal mounting plate for the padded arm is too thin, especially in comparison to the other parts used in the overall assembly. 2. The mounting screws are obviously too small in both size and length. Compounding the ability to mount the metal plate securely to the base of the arm is likely due to the wood(?) or whatever type of material used is also too thin and soft in hardness, preventing the required amount of torque that can be applied for a tight mounting of the metal plate. Warning! Any current owner or anyone considering to purchase this chair should inspect these screws for any looseness or to be missing on a regular basis. Better yet I strongly recommend the replacement of these screws to a larger and longer overall size ASAP being very careful not to over tighten the original or replacements to cause them to strip themselves out. You have now been duly warned. Good Luck! I rarely purchase an intem of this type without a personal examination and test sitting. However I have been using an awful chair in my home office for hours lately and needless to say it sucks. It causes fatigue, aches and pains due to poor seat cushioning and lack of any back support as no cushions are present at all. I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this model in the light brown color which I am happy to report is beautiful IMHO. As others have mentioned getting some of the screws aligned and started was a chore, even when following the instructions to not fully tighten them up until all screws have been started. The video makes it appear to be a piece of cake and easy to do...WRONG! However once all the screws have been aligned and started the rest of the assembly process goes pretty smoothly. WARNING!!! Please see the image included of a cleaning cloth used to wipe down all the chrome surfaces of the chair. This was the 2nd cloth used. The 1st one was even more soiled and your hands will also get this black crap on them. I am so glad I did this before assembly as it it much easier to do beforehand and in a more thorough manner. It would be a bummer for this stuff to stain any of the upholstery material. I have found this chair to provide the proper support and level of cushioning I have been craving for too long. Get yourself one! You won't regret it.
