We don't know much about violins. We homeschool our 4 children and our youngest (4 year old daughter) has decided she wants to learn violin. This set seems to come with everything we will need for her to get started. The violin and bow, the case, the rosin material, tuner, wooden piece that helps tune it i think, extra string, wall stand, music stand and more (everthing pictured) The carry case can we worn like a backpack or carried by hand. We got a 4/4 violin as well for my oldest son (14 years old) and my possibly my husband to learn as well and it didnt come with half of the stuff that this one came with. This violin also has a card with a promo code for a month of free lessons from a website. my daughter wanted to try to violin out so we followed the directions about tuning it and adding the rosin to the bow, she ended up snapping one of the strings on the bow but im almost certain it was our fault and not the products, We have zero clue what we are doing.
