Came with pre-formed holes at the bottom which I’m not sure why you’d want holes in the bottom as we recycle items sometimes with leftover rinsed water or other small amounts of soda or juice. At first my husband was not happy because he felt like this was too small. It is the perfect size, especially for me, the wife, that has to pick it up and take it to the recycle center. Very sturdy and very easy to handle. Holds a lot of wine bottles! Lol

Same size as the indoor bins the city provided. I was looking for a bin to keep upstairs, to encourage the family to not throw recyclables into waste baskets in the bathrooms and their bedrooms. It was helpful to live as we do instead of living as we should. Now we take the bin down once a month. It's hard to give a bin 5 stars, it's just a bin. Then again, there are a LOT of bins out there that were designed for everybody except me. This bin is perfectly sized, a good price and it didn't come in a pack of 10.
