This is a nice, functional clock with a couple of issues. First, it's supposed to be an Atomic Clock, meaning you should not have to set the time and should set automatically for you. There's a note that the clock will try to find and sync with the signal within 6 minutes of battery insertion. Unfortunately, this function did not work for. I tried it several times by re-inserting the batteries after waiting for the clock to sync for 10 mins, without any success. I had no choice but to manually set the time and date. Which leads to my second con. The manual that came with it is only half usefull. The labels on the diagram are wrong and you basically need to learn some functions thru trial and error. The time seems to keep up well. I've had battery operated digital clocks before where the time would always end up being advanced after a couple of days. This one also has 2 built in alarms and a thermometer that's pretty accurate (I compared the temp reading to my thermostat). There's also a blue backlight which you can leave off, or set on auto to turn on when it gets dark. It's a nice clock, but the auto sync not working is a deal breaker for a $20 clock.

I received this product for free through Amazon's Vine program in exchange for an honest review. I truly love this little alarm clock! it syncs to RCC signals in the early morning (at 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am and 5am), so it keeps perfect time. it also displays the date and temperature as well, which is handy. it has two alarms, with simple, clearly labeled switches on either side to turn them on and off, so they're very easy to set and disable. it has a button on top that iights the display (which is not overly bright, but easily readable), and also has an automatic feature that I haven't used yet -- you can set the display to glow at night so you can clearly see the time in the dark. it requires 2 AA batteries (not supplied) to work. I'm not sure how long the batteries last yet, since I haven't had it for very long. its simple, clean lines and practical functions really suit my needs. at its current price of $19.99, I consider it a very good value.

Very good function with extremely easy setting procedures; so easy that it wasn't a problem despite the ridiculously bad, incomplete and just plain wrong instructions. I drive a school bus and use it to stay on schedule so it's pointing in all directions during my route, and it only lost the signal one time when I had to manually switch over to DST (removed and replaced batteries to get it back). Would definitely give it five stars if the enclosed instructions were accurate. Will buy again if this one breaks.

Modern construction standards and design. AA battery powered LCD display alarm clock that has a receiver that senses the satellite(s) that broadcast the time of day with great accuracy. It has a canted foot on it so that it stands up straight/sturdy. The instructions are a bit squirrely. When you first put the batteries in the clock it will automatically turn on the atomic search function (that usually only comes on automatically after midnight). After waiting about ten minutes you can use the classic marked "settings" button which is on the left front side to set the time, date, year, day of the week, month, 12/24 hour function, Celcius/Fahrenheit temperature. The button on the front right bottom is to set the two alarms only. There are TWO slide switches, one on either side, to turn on or off either the left side alarm setting or the right side alarm setting. The back light slide switch on the back of the clock works great and the back light will NOT come on unless the room is absolutely dark. Very visible in the dark. The alarm is adequately loud and begins with a beep every second or two and then the beeps get faster and faster. No way to sleep through this alarm clock. Snooze bar on the top works great and turns on the back light when pushed any time of day or night.

Atomic Clock sets the time. You can set the time for what you want and the next morning you are waking up to a different time than you expect. If the clock is staying in one place I guess the feature is nice, but I use it as a travel alarm clock, because of it's small size. Change time zones and go to a state where they do not observe Daylight Saving Time and good luck. Tried turning off the atomic clock feature but no luck.

I've been very impressed by the other Geevon clocks and weather stations that I own and this is another good product by the company..... The clock function flawlessly ...after batteries were installed the seek and set time function started automatically and within a few minutes the time was set, I only had to set it to my time zone, The temp reading was accurate, the buttons worked as they should....the instructions were adequate but I wished there had been a step by step 'Set-up' guide included for example it is not clearly stated that the atomic clock seek time functions would start as soon as batteries were installed, it was however stated that the buttons would not work until time was set....I think Geevon is in business for the long run and believe their sincere claim is true when they say "We bring consumers top-quality products at a very competitive high-cost performance without sacrificing functionality or quality."

No matter what I do, I cannot get this clock to sync with the RCC signals, either manually or automatically. I suppose that could possibly have to do with all the high-rise buildings around me. Other than that, the clock works fine. Be aware that when they say this clock is for heavy sleepers, they mean it – the alarm is very, very loud and there is no way to adjust the volume. It is a little too loud for me. The instructions are clear and easy the clock is easy to set, with the exception of the time zone. It took me a minute to figure that out as it is not labeled, but it is in the instructions. The time zone is set according to Greenwich Mean Time.
