I personally give the box 5 stars. They did a really good job on this box. You can se a little of the seaming but it’s nowhere near annoying. The box did arrive with a hole in the packaging but no damage to the sub box, luckily. Very solid, heavy, unflawed and performs with the presence of an earthquake! When pushed, runs clean with no rumble. Ran a sound generator thru it and felt it at 32Hz as specified, tuned nicely. Loaded it with a Skar Audio SDR-D4 15” 1200 watt sub which has a really thick and wide suspension surrounding so I paired it with the PowerBass SWB 15G - 15” Subwoofer Grill. It fit perfectly tight inside the Skar mounting gasket with a little work. Like prying a tire on a bicycle rim, but not that bad. It worked great because of its extra height. Loved the look and the performance. I use this as a home theater sub because (1) Most subs I’ve gotten in the past clipped out early, probably cheap; (2) this combo is priced well for me since I already have a Crown 1502 amp in bridge mode pushing 1050 watts. Brought me back to college as I installed my 15" Kicker in this well made enclosure. I did end up reinforcing the box with some 2x2s, glue and screws - but that was per the subwoofers recommendation. Great value, still looks and performance great.

Good, only reason it not getting a 5 star id because you want a custom box for your sub. It hits with my 15, easy fit and install for my American bass 15. Good value, sounds loud and hasn’t destroyed my box, need more cubes for this sub

Hello! Researching boxes, well I hope you have time to read! This box has been amazing, I've had it for a couple months running a Kicker CompVR 4 ohm 500 RMS subwoofer, at max volume all the time. This thing is HEAVY...well bulky, it's weight is just how big it is, keep this in mind for later. The carpet had a slit in the bottom and some of the corners were missing carpet but it was in my tan truck so ... yeah doesn't matter much to me, may matter to you. It looks and feels good too, the carpet is close feeling to my 2005 toyota camry LE's carpet in the trunk. In my 2004 F150 Lariat, it sounds great, shaking windows and my chest and back too. Keep in mind, loudness will depend what you decide to run in this box, I am not 100% sure how well it can hold against like 2000 watt RMS 1 ohm subs... or just any ohm at such a high RMS, the connection ports are still holding well, and the port its self has no visible wear The port for the sub to throw air out has no visible inside cracks in the last 4 ish months and still none presently, they did good on glueing and screwing the box together, this thing holds FIRM! Overall, I can't say much more it's great, it just works! I'd play a video if I wasn't writing this at night time haha, hope this helps. ... show more

    • You Missing 75% of the bass you should get.
The media could not be loaded. Don't get me wrong you will get bass out of this boxes but for the price and the weight This should not be the case. I made a mistake of ordering 4 of this before fully testing them and now I got no choice but to modify all of them. After adding a layer of wood to this box so my 15's could fit in it i turned it on and I loved the way it sounded until i decided to test it against a box I have in my car that i made from not cheap wood. The subwoofer box i own sounded much deeper and better VS this boxes. I notice that the box walls were shaking and that was a big problem. When the subwoofer box shakes it's absorbing bass that you should feel. so i had to reinforce it to fix the issue making the box heavier. The box is also put together with clippers and glue I used screws all around the box as well. Right now the box is selling for $89 for the bass you are getting out of it vs the weight and the price i'd say 1 star. After the box was fully modify now it sounds the way it should but for all the testing i did to it and my time invested in it I know i'm super dumb now I should know better that everything i see pretty i want it and that was my mistake in here. I wanted to returned it but it was almost $40 to return each so i'm stuck with them and might as well modify all of them but this time it will be faster since now i know what to do to all of them. Decent box for the price but don't trust the box connector if you're pushing more than 1000w probably because 1500w melted the connector and wiring which could've burned my car down.
