  • PR1(Cherry Pink Red) 👍👍👍// V2(Spiced Plum) No purple at all but red...?
Color: 111 Extra-Light Blonde (White Chocolate) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 2)
I used keep my hair honey-light blonde but wanted to change it to hot pink(cool tone) red for summer. So Ive tried PR1 and it came our PERFECT cherry pinkish red w/ first try w/o bleaching. It was gorgeous. I just had to re-color my hair every 2 months to cover the new growth(originally dark brown hair). Then I tired to go little darker and purple for fall/winter season and tired V2(Spiced Plum) on top of my current hair(PR1). But it came out... just same as PR1... I dont know why but it just red as PR1, maybe very slightly darker. But no purple be seen at all. Quite disappointed. Well, I guess I need to bleach my hair to see purple. Ive researched the other brands then many of reviwers experienced same thing. Purple dye usually comes out as cherry-ish red in general, I guess. Unless you bleach your hair before putting purple dye. Since I dont want to bleach my hair, I will just stick fo PR1 from now on. ... show more

  • My fave hair dye 😍
Color: 11 Blackest Black (Peppercorn) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 2)
I've been dying my hair black since I was in seventh grade. I've tried many different shades/brands and this one is my favorite. It is DARK. When they named it "blackest black" they weren't kidding. It does not fade quickly at all. My roots grow out before the dyed hair softens in color. The fruit oils make it smell great, not like that old school hair dye chemical stench. It also leaves my hair feeling really soft for a bit right after use, which none of the others did. If anything they made the texture of my hair worse. Not this one. (Also. Some of you... wow. Hair dye reviews often annoy me because it's like okay you're either allergic or don't know what you're doing because that makes no sense lmao. Do not mix it and then leave it for HOURS with the top closed. What did you think was going to happen. 🤦🏻♀️ And don't tell me it's dangerous because it burned your skin. You must have sensitive skin or you're allergic to something in it because me and SEVERAL other people never had that problem.) ... show more

  • Georgeous Red😍
Color: R2 Medium Intense Auburn (Goji Berry) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
My hair is already red before i used this but i can say this is the best red color i’ve had so far.the second photo shows what roots look like after i used this product.i have really black hair and I’m happy with the result. The photo doesn’t give it justice.I love the gradient effect.Just don’t be like me and put petroleum jelly around your hairline, your ears, and your neck bc it really does stain. The stains are not that bad.I’m not bothered by it but just a heads up. ... show more

  • Great
Color: 61 Light Ash Brown (Mochaccino) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 2)
The color is as expected for a box dye. It really turned out great. This was a great deal for me because I have such thick long hair that I needed two boxes. It covered it well. I don’t see anymore grays . I would definitely buy again.

  • My Fountain of Youth in a Box (Bonus: No asphyxiation!)
Color: 40 Dark Brown (Dark Chocolate) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve tried my fair share of box dyes over the years, but Garnier Nutrisse 40 Dark Brown (Dark Chocolate) has earned VIP status in my bathroom cabinet. It’s affordable, effective, and doesn’t make me feel like I’m dying in a cloud of fumes—so that’s a solid win to start with. Unlike other brands (ahem, Schwarzkopf), this one doesn’t try to strangle you with a chemical smell you can almost see. The scent is mild enough that I can breathe normally for the full 25-minute processing time without wondering if I’m losing brain cells. After rinsing, the scent is faint and pleasant—nothing to make your family avoid you for days. Let’s talk results. I’ve got long, fine hair and enough grey to outshine a well-lit Christmas tree. This dye covers every sparkle, leaves behind rich, dimensional color, and the dyed greys actually add soft, natural-looking highlights. It matches my natural (non-grey) shade almost perfectly—just enough refresh to make me feel like myself again, minus the shimmer. Application? Listen—I’m busy. I don’t section and paint and pray. I squeeze the thick cream directly onto my roots and massage it through like shampoo. It stays where I put it, doesn’t drip all over my face or sink, and gets the job done in record time. And now: the conditioner. Oh, the conditioner. I’d buy this stuff by the gallon if they sold it separately. It smells nice and leaves my hair feeling silky soft and tangle-free, which is a minor miracle. I stretch that tiny tube for at least two months—because nothing else detangles my hair without ripping it out strand by strand. One downside? The gloves. Like most box dyes, they’re clearly designed for people with giant hands and infinite patience. I gave up on them rather quickly and now just use my own gloves every time. Trust me—it’s worth it. I wash my hair about every other day, and I’ve never noticed fading before my roots grow out. The color holds beautifully between applications, which makes it all the more convenient. ⭐ Pros: Doesn’t smell like chemical warfare Excellent grey coverage with natural-looking highlights Thick, no-drip formula = fast and easy application Leaves hair silky soft (thank you, conditioner!) Long-lasting color without noticeable fading Affordable and reliably in stock ❌ Minor Con: Included gloves are glorified plastic sacks—bring your own. Final thoughts: This is hands down my fountain of youth in a box. If you want rich color, soft hair, and a scent that won’t knock you over, this one checks every box—just not the one the gloves came in. ... show more

  • A More Inconspicuous Green Over Time
Color: TL1 Deep Intense Teal (Teal Forest) Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I honestly love this haircolor. People have (rightfully, of course) complained about the fade color, but honestly - it's quite a delicate sage green when the initial color is pretty much gone (I initially applied it to a light brown base). Definitely not mad at it, as I've desperately wanted to achieve a forest green color; it's just never happened until this shade and its fading over time. The only complaint I do have is the length of time for the original color. It's just as beautiful, but fades way too quickly. I feel like in two weeks, the vibrancy is gone. However, it's worthy to note that I tend to wash my hair quite often - at least five times in a week - so I can't be too negative about it. Definitely worth a shot for those that love a more inconspicuous teal/green color! ... show more
