I really love their connectors and how easy the product is to use overall. I agree with some people that have posted that the central fitting seems like a bad implementation. Also, it doesn't really stand on its own when you pull the hose out, unless you're pulling it perfectly perpendicular to the support leg, and that leg is fully extended. I do prefer this to other solutions I've had, but it seems like they've spent much more time thinking about their connectors and less about using some of the products. I’m a slow learner so even though I’ve never liked plastic products for reasons of durability, I thought with a german made product, maybe it would be okay. First one came broken, sent it back, only to get a second one broken in the exact same spot. I tried contacting Gardena, but they chose not to respond to my email which was the only method I was given on their website. Ultimately I returned the second one, with somewhat of a hassle I might add, as I had already begun assembly and could not then fit the pieces back into the box. Did not receive item in the original manufacturer’s box. Arrived in a beat up box that wasn’t secure or tightly packaged. No instructions provided on how to assemble. Container that had attachments was opened and some of the ups attachments had fallen into the box. I think this item had been previously used and we were sent it, Hose connection to the water pipe leaks. Our current hose doesn’t leak. Very disappointing at lack of quality and attention to packaging considering the cost. ... show more

I like the quality of this hose and the connectors. However, this came without the 5foot connector hose that was in the description. Also, the spray nozzle looks different. I’d rather not return this, can you just send me the connector hose?
