Size 4 men is equivalent to a size 5 women. I am typically a size 5.5-6 in US women. I ordered unisex Dr. Martens size 4 men (5 women) and they fit snug but they fit well. These are well designed and constructed shoes that appear to be able to hold up and last for awhile. I find these shoes both comfortable and stylish. You could wear these shoes in all seasons although I do not recommend wearing these in any wet condition weather as the material could get messed up. ... show more

LOVE THEM😘I own so many Docs because of their comfort, so when I saw these it was a no brainer. The price was awesome. Theythe do run true to size. The reviews mentioned stretching but I think that would happen over time. The width is good and I can wear with or without a sock. Super comfortable but also chic! Love that the strap can be worn in the back to be more secure. I did not have to break these in. True to size, I’m a size 6.5 so I went with the size 6 since Docs usually break in and get more roomy with time. They go with everything, been wearing them daily since I got them. Debating getting another pair in a different color. I was deciding between these and the Birkenstock mules, but I’m very glad I went with these. ... show more

Nice shoes. Accurate sizing however the leather is very very soft and therefore stretchy so after only a week of having them I have had to go from the third hole on the strap to now having to make more holes. Will run out of space very quickly.. this makes me scared of very fast wear and tear. Also I don’t feel too secure in them because the whole shoe has stretched. I suggest, size up, I’m usually a 6.5 on shoes. Initially I ordered the 6, because they don’t have half sizes so I have to change them to 7. But other than that, I love them. Received Sand color show yesterday, expecting the black ones to arrive today. The shoes I did get are amazing. They appear well made, I reserved a star because of my legit concern regarding the strap coming loose on several reviews. I will update after wearing a few times. The color is just as pictured. It goes with everything! The comfort is 10 plus, absolutely no break in time required. The value was there for me as I caught them at a reduced price, although if they are durable as I expect them to be, they are worth full manufacturing price, IMO. Wearability is effortless, they glide on and thankfully in my case stay on, sock or no sock no problems. 5 star worthy if they perform as expected. ***The Black pair of shoes came in as expected the next day but they were NOT new. They were clearly returns and I promptly sent them right back. I am enjoying the Sand color mules I kept but NO, NO and NO to sending customers returns unless they state its a return up front and the customer agrees. ... show more
