My oldest son got a beta fish and has proven to really take good care of it. We've been searching for a new fish tank for his adorable fish. I found this one and immediately was drawn to the size and self cleaning feature. It comes with LED light that he's enjoying and water pump that is able to self clean and a filter. Easy to attach the air filter to the side. The LED light he's able to adjust, love the colors! While he doesn't have much in his new aquarium he did add some rocks for the fish. I do wish it came with some kind of decoration as a bonus. But not a deal breaker. Overall a good size, he placed it on his bookshelf and it looks neat. Easy to feed the fish. Easy to set up and fun to look at. Great starter kit. Another thing i would love to see is a way to get the fish out and a container when cleaning this aquarium. Would be helpful especially to new owners. We loved this aquarium so much, my mom is planning to surprise my oldest with this same one for his 2nd betta fish. I can't wait for him to find out as he's been saving his money for the 2nd fish. Excellent quality and doesn't leak.

This little 1.5-gallon Betta tank is kind of adorable—like the studio apartment of aquariums. It’s compact, lightweight, and comes with everything you need to get started… well, minus the fish and sand. But hey, it does come with a filter, pump, and color-changing LED lights, so it's definitely more “high-tech chic” than your average bowl. Setup was a breeze. The filter and water pump are small but functional—they create enough flow and bubbles to oxygenate the water without blasting your poor Betta around like it’s in a jacuzzi. The self-cleaning feature is more like basic filtration, but it does help keep things clearer for longer if you're not overfeeding. Now let’s talk about those LED lights. They’re cool. You get to pick from a rainbow of colors—red, blue, green, purple, etc. My only concern? I hope my fish isn’t having a sensory overload rave every night. I mostly leave it on a softer setting because, let’s be honest, I wouldn’t want a strobe light above my bed 24/7 either. The size is small, so this is definitely for a single Betta or some snails. But as a starter tank, desk companion, or cute decorative piece in a bedroom or office, it totally does the trick. Plus, you can go nuts with decorations—mini castles, plants, themed hideouts—your imagination’s the limit. Overall: a fun, beginner-friendly little tank that does what it promises. Just be kind to your fish and don’t hit ‘em with a nightclub light show. 4 out of 5 stars from me.

My family keeps telling me I need a pet… a beta should qualify. First step is to get a little tank set up and this one seems perfect. Nice size, 1.5 gallon capacity, water pump, filter, self cleaning, adjustable light colors. The front and sides are a clear plastic material, the filter is housed in the back. It seems well built, a cute little beta tank. Now I just need a little gravel, a rock or two, probably a plant or two, maybe a sunken ship or something … and a pretty beta.

I've come across several self-cleaning fish tanks, and my biggest complaint is that the manufacturer often glues the hood to the tank itself, leaving a tiny sliver for you to stick your hand through to put decorations or clean the tank. So the fact that this product avoids that pitfall makes it an easy five star in my book. The product uses plastic instead of glass, so it may crack and leak if you accidentally drop it. The filter system is set in the back portion of the tank, leaving less living space for your fish. So that limits what kind of creatures you could put in it. The filter holes could suck cherry shrimps, so I wouldn't raise them in this tank. But an African dwarf frog or snails are suitable (especially since the product has a hood/cover over the top to keep your critter inside). Please note the power button is on the lid itself instead of the back (as shown in the video). There is no water heater, so you need to a small one to your tank if needed.

Great little tank. It is good for a beta and the filter works great and is silent. Its easy to assemble and the lights are also very nice. Its sturdy and doesn’t leak at all! I highly recommend it

This is nice as a hospital tank or an extremely temporary setup, as the gallon size isn’t ideal for anything living long term. I created a terrarium out of this with living mosses and plants, which this worked PERFECT for.
