We wanted something for starting our new garden. We also didn't want to have to rebuild the carburetor every year. We went with electric. VERY happy with this so far. Used only 2x so far, since it's just getting a little warmer now. But it went through the dirt without trouble and we got our garden tilled. We will use it again in a few weeks again just before we plant, but this tiller does the job, and we are going to keep it indoors when not in use, so hopefully we have many years of use ahead of us.

The media could not be loaded. Don't think twice, get this machine! It's the best balance of price and quality. Easy to assemble, powerful, and elegant piece of equipment. Most importantly, it will get the job done, no sweat. You will have to pay a lot more to get a 13.5 AMPs equivalent, and you really need this power to tackle the tough consolidated soil and stubborn weeds, and this machine delivers. When you're done, use common sense for basic maintenance: these are some hints: 1- Before you start working on your lot, don’t water it for at least 3 days before starting your project, this will leave the soil dry, it will protect your machine and make it much more easier to cultivate your soil. 2- When you are done working, don't leave it moist, avoid washing it because water may leak into your motor. Instead, clean the blades with a brush and rag before storing it. 3- Keep an eye out for weeds wrapping around the blades, and stop to remove them as needed - don't overload the motor!

I really like this rototiller. My yard is quite rocky and this machine hasn't jammed or stopped when it hits rocks. It's powerful and I like the fact it's electric versus having to deal with oil / gas / or some combination of the two. My only "con" is I can't figure out how to raise / lower the wheels, but it doesn't affect how I use this machine. It's easy to roll from place to place and the wheels don't get in the way when using it for its intended purpose. Highly recommend.

So far extremely happy! Have had gas powered tillers for years, finally sick of trying to start it. It always involved cleaning carburetor, getting neighbor involved that knows small engine (which I don’t), etc. Lots of effort twice a year, last year I didn’t even bother with it in the Fall. Pros and cons: It’s not going to dig as deep as a gas one, how could it? It’s lightweight compared to heavy gas tillers. It takes longer particularly in hard dry soil cause you’ll have to go over it couple times, it’ll bounce. BUT—you spent no time or money (in gas) trying to start it. And it’s so much easier to use, you won’t care if that it took longer cause you won’t be wore out trying to manipulate a heavy machine. No, because it’s electric it’s not a “real” tiller. At 64 I no longer care. Only interested in results and how much I invested for those results. Like other tillers, you find dragging it backwards works best. You’ll only use the wheels down position when moving it, not using it. Maybe wear goggles, this thing throws rocks big time! If the ground is extremely dry and hard, spray it with water couple hours before you till. It helps. If it doesn’t perform within next few years I’ll update review. But initially, 5 stars all the way!

We have very rocky clay type soil. This machine beat its way through it, digging and throwing rocks 🪨 many as big as 3x4x2 ( See photo of roots & stones the orange dot is a golf ball)with ease as it bounced up and down digging them up. Note: Surprisingly, the blades were NOT damaged, didn’t bend, break or chip. See photo —- FYI : For me I found that by dragging the unit backwards, it dug better and didn’t bounce as much in the hard dirt. I would drag it back a couple of feet then ran it forward, and back again. Outstanding job with very little effort 👍👍

I have been changing to electric yard tools. Leif blower, weed eater, chainsaw now this. This tiller is a beast. We have red clay here and this tiller dug right in and turned it to powder. Plenty of power and torque.
