I've only had the hose a few weeks but it seems good so far. The sprayer attachment that comes with it doesn't have some settings I would like, such as a gentle "shower " setting that I like to use to water plants. The sprayer material feels very cheaply made so I may just switch it out with my old one that's metal - nor a big deal. Overall, it seems fine. Bought the stainless 100ft a few summers ago. I didn't care for the metallic grinding sound wet with dirt it makes while dragging but DURABILITY is what it's for. Like many others it failed by late summer. TBF I have been through 3 high dollar highly rated hoses. From the huge/heavy ones that feel like firehoses to the lightweight/retractable types. All fail within 2-3 summers. Here is the main cause for ALL the hoses even ones in the sink/shower. It doesn't matter what the outer sheath is made of . Titanium for a SR-71, steel from the hull if a icebreaker. Its the small weak hose that inside that really matters. So SS/steel braid etc is great if you are planning on running it over with a tank but if the pinkie diameter hose that turns to bubble gum in the heat fails its worthless. Same with your sink's retractable hose. The worst thing one can do is lay a pressurized hose with water inside so hot it can scald you. The rubber hose can/will turn to silly putty and burst. Well Mom bought this new hose identical to the one she had that failed. So this is a $70 test. I will roll it up/store it drained and see what happens. 2nd day, 4th use and it FAILED. AGAIN. 90 degree days rolled up put in shade next to house. During use it simply failed again under that ss coil. Like I said.. Just because you might can run a hose over with a tank means nothing if the hose turns to bubblegum and burst. ... show more

Started to leak after a week of use. After posting the junk review I was contacted by the seller who ask about the problem I was having with the hose. I explained where the hose was leaking and ask for a replacement. No problem a new hose was sent out right away, hope it last longer than the first. I used the hose less than a month when it started leaking profusely where the hose attached to the metal connector. It was already past the return window but I reached out to the seller and they responded very quickly and offered to send a replacement one. The new one is great, no leaks, and the customer service was exceptional. It’s a great hose and hope it lasts much longer than the ones that expand when on and then shrink up when you turn them off. ... show more

    • Sharp looking hose!

Nice hose but I wouldn't call it collapsable. Ive had 2 of the truly collapsable hoses and both started to leak over time where connected to the hose. So I was intrigued by a collapsable metal hose. It does take up quite a bit of room but it's easy to handle and seems well made and really durable.
