I run through expandable hoses every other year. Thy just don't seem to last. But i am willing to trade longevity for the convenience of a small and light hose to water plants. This was a good value compared to the Big Box store. GOOD FIND.

This hose is definitely different from other hoses I have had as in it's the first expandable hose. It definitely expands but not quite as much as I thought it would. The hose gets hung up/snags a bit easier than the rubber horse I am used to but doesn't tangle/kink like others I have had. I do like th brass fittings which are secure and seem very durable. I like all the different settings on the head, it has plenty of options and it is comfortable to hold a long time. I could only order the 25' which is a bummer as a longer version would be of more use. Only time and real use will tell how durable this hose really is.

In spite of decent reviews, I would NOT recommend this hose. First, after 2 uses it developed 3 of the bumps shown in the picture. I'm sure these would have eventually ruptured. I've had expandable hoses and know how to handle and take care of them, not catching them on curbs, corners of the house, etc. Second, the outside material is soft rubber (not cloth) and sticks to itself making a tangled mess! And last, don't expect the full 100 feet unless you have amazing water pressure, expect somewhere around 85 in most cases! There's a disclaimer about water pressure buried in the description, make sure you read it!
