  • A Smarter Purchase - And It Works Flawlessly
The media could not be loaded. I just bought this robotic mower in November as a practical off-season purchase. I did my research and this is by far the most cost-effective smart mower I could find — waiting until spring would definitely cost more. Getting it now lets me avoid the seasonal rush and save money. Setup was straightforward and took about an hour. The boundary wire is easy to lay down, and the included pegs were sufficient. I emailed customer service with one question about placement around a tree and received a clear, helpful reply in under ten hours. I tested it right away — it's quiet, thorough, and cuts evenly. I’m extremely impressed with how well it works for the price. The "set and forget" design is a major advantage. I’ll use it for another month this season, then store it fully charged in the garage. The boundary wire stays in place, so when I take it out again, it’s ready to go instantly — no spring setup, no wasted weekends. A truly smart buy at a smart price. 5 stars for performance, ease, and great service. ... show more

  • Works good on smaller, smooth, lawns
The media could not be loaded. Automatic Robot Lawn Mower with GPS Navigation Review updates are noted below. Update 2, Oct 28th 2025 The app is working again. I was able to create an account and get the mower added in the app. The app offers some settings such as speed, collision sensitivity, mowing patterns etc. Additionally you can set mowing schedules. The "find my mower" feature does not seem to work. It never shows where your mower is currently mowing but it does show the outline of the property once it walks the perimeter wire. It mows small sections at a time. Seems to divide the mowing area into a grid, then mow each section of the grid one at a time. It is rather quiet, in my video is seems loud but in reality it is quiet enough to run in the middle of the might without bothering anyone. I'm disappointed that I cannot: 1. See where the mower is in the app 2. See what areas of the lawn need mowed and what areas have been mowed, in the app 3. View the status of the mower remotely, you have to be within Bluetooth range of the mower, even if it is connected to the WiFi 4. Get alerts on my phone if it get stuck. The mower is small, not made for big yards. It does a good job mowing but its small size makes it sensitive to the smoothness of the lawn. If your lawn is full of pot hols or humps you might have issues. I had to fill in lots of pot holes to get it mowing without getting stuck. I removed a star because the app is quite lacking as noted in my review. I removed another star because its small size makes it quite sensitive to pot holes and humps. If it was a few inches wider and had larger wheels it would run easier on bumpy lawns. Update 1, Oct 2nd 2025: Support did finally respond to my email after about a week. They said the recent tsunami took their server offline and hope to have it working in a week or so. Will update review when/if the app is working again. Original review: I emailed support, no response after three days. The Android app does not work at all, it requires you to create an account and log in. It only returns a network error trying to do that. Many of the features this offers require the app, for example setting a mower schedule. It can be setup using the perimeter wire and mow within the perimeter. But you will have to manually go press the button each time you want it to mow. It seems well made and has a decent battery life. It is not very loud but is kinda slow. But speed does not really matter since it can just do it's thing without you monitoring it. I would not recommend this simply because the app is not functional. If the app is fixed and I hear from support I will update my review. ... show more

  • Finally, weekends are for me again, not for yard work!
The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical about letting a robot handle my uneven backyard, but this thing is a game-changer. The initial setup and wiring took a bit of time, but it was absolutely worth the one-time effort. I now literally press a button and watch it work while I drink my coffee. The grass looks perfectly manicured, and it hasn't missed a single spot or gotten tangled in my garden beds. It's not just a gadget,it's my time machine! It gave me back my weekends. If you're on the fence, just get it. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • good mower.
The media could not be loaded. As others have said, great to have my weekends back, well almost. I still have my front lawn to cut as it is not practical to have this mower cover both front and back without having to open my gate and also hope no one steals it from my open front yard, and there is still the need to trim around the edges where the mower doesn't reach. Overall, the mower is quiet and efficient and does a good job. It also looks quite modern and streamlined. Setup is straight forward but does take a while, laying the wire is easy enough but just takes a long time making sure it is laid out evenly and pegging it down. It took several hours to lay approximately 600ft of wire along the fence line but also around a couple of trees and three shrubs. The first issue I encountered is that the supplied pegs are only sufficient if you evenly space them at 3 feet (one meter) intervals. As I had to put them in closer together to go around the trees and shrubs as well as use additional pegs to peg the wire down in to dips in the lawn, I ran out despite not using all the supplied wire. I contacted GA-GA customer service by email, and they quickly responded (less than 24 hours) and after a brief exchange they agreed to supply some additional pegs at no cost. Once I was happy that the wire was securely pegged down all around it was time to connect the base station which took a few minutes, plug in and manually park the mower ready for testing. It states in the manual to place the mower to the side of the base and press a couple of buttons to send back to automatically dock with the base. I thought it would go straight there but instead it set off and traced around the boundary before successfully docking. Next it was time for the real test, mow my approx. 3600sq-ft lawn. It sets off tracing the boundary and then starts doing its back forth motion to cut the grass. I thought it would go fully from side to side but instead it divides the lawn into smaller square sections and completes a section before moving on to the next one. It continued for about 5 hours before the battery got down to 20% and it headed back to charge; it does this by going to the edge and following the boundary wire back to the base. After a couple of hours, the battery was recharged and the mower headed back out to complete the job which took another hour. My grass wasn't overly long at this time, and I have the mower set at its highest cut so there was no obvious path I could see where it had cut but I could see that it had cut where needed and you can hear the blades cutting. It is very quiet and a few times I had to go and visually look to confirm that it was still working as I couldn't hear it from my patio. Next came using the app and here I initially had problems when the app kept saying I wasn't in the region where I said I was. It turned out, after contacting customer services (and again getting a next day response) that they had been doing some server updates and sure enough when I tried again the app connected. The app itself has limited functionality, and its main use is to set up a mowing schedule and set some basic options, such as if it mows in the rain or not. It also shows a map of the area that mower will cut within but there is no tracking of the mower path. The main drawbacks I can see are with the power supply and docking station both of which it turns out are not fully waterproofed and not designed to be exposed to heavy rain. The mower itself is IPX5 rated so is waterproof. There is a label on the power supply that clearly states that it is for indoor use only, there is nothing on the base station that says anything about is waterproofness and I only learned that base station is also not rated for outdoor use after once again contacting customer service about the power supply. Again, I had a quick response and detailed explanation of the limitations of the base station and power supply and why theirs, along with most others, are designed as they are. After composing my initial review (I did this edit before it was published) I received a second, detailed, email from customer service to say they had followed up my comments with the factory and done their own testing (by spraying the base station and power supply with a garden hose) and were now confident that both were safe to be left out in what they termed light to moderate rain. It is refreshing to deal with a company that is quick to respond and takes the comments seriously and works to rectify issues where they can. I had initially looked to deduct a star because of the base station and power supply but after the responses from customer service I am happy that the mower does in fact deserve 5 stars. That being said it is probably worth the extra cost to buy a cover or 'garage' to protect the mower, base station and power supply if you are not able to place it somewhere that has natural shelter or, as I do, if you live somewhere like Florida where heavy summer rain is common and also to provide protection from the sun. ... show more
